Dr. Hulda Clark - Scientist Extraordinaire!
2014.06.11 03:38 TruthSeeker4 Dr. Hulda Clark - Scientist Extraordinaire!
Hulda Regehr Clark, Ph.D., was a classically-trained scientist who discovered that virtually all diseases begin the same way: 1) toxins taken into the body compromise the immune system; and 2) pathogens and parasites take advantage of that compromised immune system and proliferate. Many produce very toxic chemicals themselves. Because Dr. Clark's discoveries threatened the profits of Big Medicine/Big Pharma, they orchestrated a massive smear campaign against her. But many of us know the truth.
2023.06.07 13:47 Eclectic_Nymph Getting back into the rooms
Hi everyone!
My name is Alissa and I've been sober from cocaine and heroine for almost 10 years since attending treatment/sober living. The treatment center and sober house I attended were on the other side of the US and I really through myself into the recovery community there. I was deeply involved in my home group. I took up every service opportunity I could. I can honestly say they were some of the best years of my life.
Well, fast forward 3 years and my mother was diagnosed with cancer. I moved back home to be close to my family and honestly, I never got fully plugged in to the AA community after moving. I started out going to meetings but it felt so different. And then I just stopped going. You guys know the drill. It didn't take long, but this insidious disease convinced me I could drink and smoke weed and that as long as I "stay away from the hard stuff" I would be fine. The issue is, I see the symptoms of my addiction permeating into all areas of my life. I'm having issues with my relationships with food. I'm a workaholic. I'm just overall not the happy, healthy person I used to be. I miss the commoradery I used to have in the rooms. I feel so isolated and alone. But I'm not sure how to take the first step and go back.
I'm married now and my husband seems to be in denial about my addiction. He didn't know me when I was at my worst and doesn't understand the dangers of how I'm living now. When I tell him I'm going to start going to AA again he gets very strange and beings questioning if I'm using heroin or coke behind his back. I know I need to just bite the bullet and get my ass into a meeting, I'm just having trouble taking the plunge.
TLDR - Relapsed on alcohol/weed after being clean for multiple years. Feeling like a fraud and having trouble getting back into the rooms.

What are the benefits of Laparoscopic surgery?
Laparoscopic surgery, also referred to as minimally invasive surgery, is a type of surgery that makes small incisions in the body as opposed to large ones. Because it has so many advantages over conventional surgery, laparoscopy has grown in popularity recently.
Laparoscopy offers a number of advantages, such as less discomfort and scarring, shorter hospital stays, quicker recovery times, and a lower risk of complications. Laparoscopy has a lower risk of infection and less bleeding than open surgery because it is less invasive.
Laparoscopy is a flexible procedure that can be used for a variety of operations, such as cancer surgery, cyst and fibroid removal, and treatment for infertility. In comparison to traditional surgery, laparoscopy frequently allows patients to resume their regular activities faster and with less pain.
If you are considering laparoscopy, it's important to choose a skilled and experienced laparoscopic surgeon. The
best IVF center in Varanasi may have a team of highly trained laparoscopic surgeons who can perform a range of procedures using this technique.
What are the common laparoscopy treatments offered and how is the treatment performed?
A laparoscope, a small, flexible tube with a camera and light at its tip, is used during minimally invasive surgery, or laparoscopic surgery. In the patient's abdomen, the surgeon makes a few tiny incisions and inserts the laparoscope, which sends images of the abdomen's interior to a monitor. This enables the surgeon to carry out various procedures without the need for a significant incision, leading to less discomfort, a quicker recovery, and a lower risk of complications.
Diagnostic laparoscopy for the diagnosis and treatment of conditions like endometriosis, ectopic pregnancy, and ovarian cysts are common laparoscopic procedures. Hysterectomy, myomectomy, tubal ligation, and the management of uterine fibroids are also performed using laparoscopic surgery. Both male and female infertility can be identified and treated using laparoscopy.
The surgeon may use forceps, scissors, and probes among other tools during the laparoscopy procedure to carry out the surgery. In order to give the surgeon more room to work, the abdomen is frequently inflated using carbon dioxide gas.
Usually, general anesthesia is used during laparoscopy, and patients can go home the same day or the day after the procedure. Patients frequently experience less pain and scarring, and recovery times are typically shorter than with traditional open surgery.
Role of laparoscopy in IVF treatment
The laparoscopy procedure is essential to the success of IVF. It is used to identify and treat a number of conditions, including endometriosis, blocked fallopian tubes, and ovarian cysts, which can affect fertility. To remove any barriers and raise the possibility of a successful IVF procedure, laparoscopic surgery is performed.
Laparoscopy is typically performed during an IVF cycle as a day procedure, allowing the patient to go home the same day. A small camera is inserted through a very small abdominal incision during the laparoscopy procedure for IVF treatment. The surgeon can closely inspect the pelvic area thanks to the camera's ability to send images to a monitor.
To obtain eggs for IVF treatment, laparoscopy is another option. The eggs are removed from the ovary during this procedure, called laparoscopic egg retrieval, using a tiny needle that is inserted through the laparoscope.
Selecting a qualified and skilled laparoscopic surgeon who can carry out the procedure safely and effectively is essential if you intend to receive IVF treatment. The most effective IVF facilities in Varanasi have skilled laparoscopic surgeons who use the latest technology and techniques to ensure the best possible outcome for their patients.
Conclusion
Laparoscopic surgery, a minimally invasive procedure, has gained popularity for the diagnosis and treatment of a variety of gynecological conditions. It offers numerous advantages over traditional open surgery, including less pain, faster recovery times, and smaller incisions.

2023.06.07 13:41 mchesney Any radiation docs?
Greetings all, Firstly, I'm new to this sub and would like to express my appreciation for the help provided to others. It is very noble indeed. 56 y/o male, 6' 2", 200 lbs, caucasian. Pmhx of GERD, BPH, HLD, former smoker (quit 10 yrs ago). Looking for opinions from radiation oncologists or others knowledgeable of types of radiation therapy. I have buccal/gingival SCC and had surgery April 13th to include left partial maxillectomy and MRND with 36 lymph nodes removed. Path report shows clean margins (closest 5mm) but positive PNI, LVI, and a tiny bit of ENE so the plan is for concurrent chemo (cisplatin) and radiation. I may have a choice between proton or IMRT. I am seeing two rad/onc providers, one local for IMRT in case proton is denied, and another at a cancer center where surgery was performed that offers proton therapy. The IMRT is ready to start ...the proton therapy is still mired in insurance hurdles (Requesting peer to peer discussion but initially denied). My question is, are the benefits of PBT worth the drive, logistics, and possible delay in treatment, worth waiting for the chance of approval? Thanks for any help or insight.

NPR investigation reveals the growing influence of the far right and their efforts to dismantle the Electronic Registration Information Center (ERIC).
Starting point: The far-right website Gateway Pundit initiated discussions on ERIC in January 2022, which led to a campaign against the voter fraud prevention tool. * A week later, Louisiana became the first state to withdraw from ERIC, citing concerns from citizens, government watchdogs, and media reports.
Local groups' involvement: NPR found that local "election integrity" groups played a significant role in the effort to discredit ERIC across the country. * Groups like Protect Your Vote Florida launched campaigns to influence state legislators to suspend their contracts with ERIC.
Trump ally's coordination: Cleta Mitchell, known for working with Trump to overturn the 2020 election, has been a ringleader in the effort to dismantle ERIC. * Mitchell hosted a secret ERIC summit with red state lawmakers last summer and has started an Election Integrity Network.
Impact on elections: With states withdrawing from ERIC, voter rolls may be less accurate leading to longer lines at precincts and mail ballots being sent to incorrect addresses.

2023.06.07 13:08 SpecialistNo1435 2/- Naked mole rats and there extreme uniqueness genuinely you might wanna take a peak. I talk about their division of labor, cooperative care, communication, aspects of biology.
(Remember in all this there almost 100% blind)
Now this will be multiple posts as i can’t put out the amount of info i want too in just one What i talk about in each part (only 2 of them) so you can see if your interested in any: Part one (I’m using this as -/- the left side is the part and the right side is what i’m referring to the claim)
1/1
Division Of Labor - Roles (Queen, soldiers, workers) - Caste system/Hierarchy - A second caste system in workers
1/2
Cooperative care: - Roles - Babysitting - Training and socialization - Nursing and grooming - Tending to weak.
2/1
Communication: - How they communicate - Each family having there own accents - Tactile signals - Chemical signals
2/2
Aspects of biology: - Having evolved an insanely strong cancer resistance - Living to 30 yrs when rodent sized usually die after 2-4 yrs. - Ability to survive with very low oxygen.
(Whichever number is in the title is the part)
2/1 Communication: Dialects: Naked mole rats exhibit dialects, where different colonies or family groups have distinct vocalizations and scent profiles. These dialects arise from unique environmental conditions, social interactions, and genetic factors within each colony. The dialects help naked mole rats recognize and differentiate between individuals from their own colony and individuals from neighboring colonies.
Vocalizations: Naked mole rats produce a range of vocalizations to convey information. These vocalizations include chirps, trills, squeaks, and low-frequency calls. Each type of vocalization can carry different meanings, such as signaling danger, indicating mating readiness, or coordinating group activities.
Tactile signals:Naked mole rats also use tactile communication extensively. They have sensitive whiskers and use them to interact and communicate with each other. For example, they engage in nose-to-nose touching, which is a common behavior during social interactions and helps to establish social bonds and convey messages.
Chemical communication: Scent plays a crucial role in naked mole rat communication. They have scent glands located on various parts of their bodies, particularly around their faces. These glands produce specific chemical signals that convey information about individual identity, reproductive status, and social hierarchy. By detecting and interpreting these chemical cues, naked mole rats can distinguish between colony members and outsiders and establish territorial boundaries.
2/2 Aspects of Genetic Biology:
High cancer resistance do to evolving with things like:
• HMM-HA: High-molecular-mass hyaluronan inhibits cell proliferation and promotes tissue integrity, contributing to cancer resistance.
• Contact inhibition: Naked mole rat cells halt division upon contact, preventing uncontrolled growth and the formation and spread of tumors.
• DNA repair: Naked mole rats have highly efficient DNA repair mechanisms that rapidly identify and correct DNA damage, reducing the risk of mutations and cancer development.
• Tumor-suppressing genes: Naked mole rats possess additional tumor-suppressing genes, such as p16, which control cell division and prevent tumor formation, enhancing their resistance to cancer.
Long Lives: (Smaller animals very commonly have faster metabolisms which a species metabolism is how to determine lifespan and how we perceive time)
• Low metabolic rate: Naked mole rats have a relatively low metabolic rate, which reduces the production of harmful byproducts and slows down aging processes. This is because the underground environment lacks abundant oxygen, and naked mole rats have adapted to thrive in low-oxygen conditions i go into next.
• Enhanced oxidative stress resistance: They possess higher levels of antioxidants and increased activity of antioxidant enzymes, protecting against oxidative damage and extending lifespan.
• Efficient DNA repair mechanisms: Rapid identification and correction of DNA damage help maintain genetic integrity and minimize age-related decline.
• Cellular maintenance and protein stability: Effective cellular processes, such as autophagy and protein quality control, preserve cellular health and prevent the accumulation of damaged molecules.
• Insensitivity to age-related conditions: Naked mole rats exhibit resistance to age-related diseases, including cancer, neurodegenerative disorders, and cardiovascular diseases.
Ability to Survive With Low Oxygen intake: • Underground habitat: Naked mole rats adapted to low-oxygen underground burrows, necessitating efficient oxygen utilization.
• Anaerobic metabolism: They can switch to anaerobic metabolism to generate energy without relying on oxygen.
• Oxygen efficiency: Optimized respiratory and circulatory systems allow effective oxygen uptake and distribution

2023.06.07 12:05 FitEyes The AREDS Vitamin Formulas for Eye Health: A Deep Dive
When it comes to eye health, particularly in preventing age-related macular degeneration (AMD), the Age-Related Eye Disease Study (AREDS) and its successor, AREDS2, have made significant contributions to our understanding of dietary supplementation for eye health. That being said, the AREDS formulas aren't without their share of controversy, especially concerning the dosage of zinc.
Rethinking Zinc in the AREDS Formulas
The original AREDS formula contains 80 mg of zinc oxide, a level that has been criticized as being excessive. The AREDS2 study, responding to concerns about the potential toxicity of higher zinc levels, reduced the amount of zinc to 40 mg. While follow-up research showed that 40 mg of zinc is a better dose than 80 mg, the question of whether 25 or 30 mg (total) would be equally as effective, but safer, remains unanswered. It is suggested that a dose of 30 mg may be as effective for most people and likely safer.
Another concern around the AREDS study involves the simultaneous intake of multivitamins by study participants. In AREDS, two-thirds of participants took multivitamins along with the AREDS formulation, and in AREDS2, this number was almost nine out of ten. Given that multivitamins often contain additional zinc, this introduces potential variability in total zinc intake, complicating the analysis of the study results.
Building a Case for Full-Spectrum Carotenoids
Both AREDS formulas include carotenoids, but their usage of
isolated forms has provoked criticism. The first AREDS formula contained β-carotene, which was removed in AREDS2 due to increased lung cancer risk among smokers consuming it in its
isolated form. (This risk was
not observed with food-based carotenoids.) Despite the elimination of β-carotene, the use of other
isolated carotenoids in the AREDS formulas remains controversial.
I assert that carotenoids, as they naturally occur together in many fruits and vegetables, should be consumed in a full-spectrum approach to maximize their health benefits and ensure safety.
Interestingly, high β-carotene intake from foods does not increase lung cancer risk, even in smokers, whereas isolated β-carotene does. This contrast could arise due to a disproportional intake of β-carotene compared to other carotenoids like β-cryptoxanthin, or that high intake of β-carotene may prevent the absorption of other carotenoids. This competition for absorption is exemplified by evidence showing that higher intakes of lutein and zeaxanthin can decrease β-carotene absorption (van Het Hof et al., 2000).
Moreover, the role of β-cryptoxanthin, another dietary carotenoid, highlights the safety of the full spectrum approach. A study showed high dietary intake of β-cryptoxanthin is associated with a
lower risk of lung disease in smokers, contrasting with the effects of isolated β-carotene (PubMed 36771049). People who consume more β-carotene from food automatically obtain more of the other carotenoids, including β-cryptoxanthin.
Further supporting the advantages of the full spectrum approach, recent studies show lycopene, a carotenoid not found in the macula but rich in tomatoes, may protect lutein and zeaxanthin en route to the macula (Antioxidants 2020, 9, 264; Antioxidants 2019, 8, x). This research implies that protection against AMD could extend beyond lutein and zeaxanthin supplementation and towards a broader dietary carotenoid intake.
Another carotenoid source worth noting is the golden spice, saffron. Saffron is a rich source of many carotenoids, but two are particularly relevant to AMD: crocin and crocetin. Clinical research indicates that daily supplementation with 30 mg of saffron for six months can significantly improve retinal function in patients with AMD (PMID: 28289690).
There are over 600 carotenoids that naturally occur in foods, each with potentially unique and beneficial properties. This rich diversity further supports the need for a full-spectrum carotenoid approach in both our diets and supplementation practices.
Studies tend to focus on isolated nutrients. The reason is not that isolated nutrients are superior, but rather than conducting studies and analyzing results is easier. Therefore, we don't have many studies looking at the advantages of the "full spectrum" approach, but it is a conservative approach that could potentially offer more benefits and fewer risks. The idea is based on the premise that in nature, nutrients typically work synergistically, providing more significant health benefits when consumed together than individually.
Where Do We Go from Here?
Despite their drawbacks, the AREDS and AREDS2 supplements remain some of the most widely recommended in ophthalmology practices. These formulas have significantly advanced our understanding of nutritional intervention for eye health. However, like all areas of medical science, there's always room for improvement and refinement.
The concerns around zinc dosage and carotenoid selection in the AREDS formulas highlight the need for continued research and improved formulas. As we strive for improved eye health, we must continue to explore and refine these formulas, keeping up with new scientific discoveries and the evolving understanding of nutritional science.
There's a growing consensus favoring a full-spectrum approach to carotenoids over isolated forms. The complexity and diversity of carotenoids in nature seem to hint at a sophistication that we are just beginning to comprehend.
The ultimate goal of these efforts is to create a supplement that is maximally effective, yet closer to nature. While we may not be there yet, my research is focused on formulating the next generation of supplements that reflects the complexity and richness of nature itself.
In the meantime, if you are taking the AREDS formula with 80mg of zinc, consider switching to something else. The AREDS2 formula is a better choice due to the reduced amount of zinc, but the dose remains high enough that, at a minimum, most of us should avoid simultaneously consuming other supplements that contain zinc.
Another consideration is the consumption of isolated carotenoids. If you are consuming any isolated carotenoids, take care to ensure that you also consume plenty of "full spectrum" carotenoids from foods and, optionally, from a concentrated natural carotene source such as saffron or some of the herbs and spices listed below:
- Parsley: It contains a variety of carotenoids, including β-carotene, lutein, and zeaxanthin.
- Basil: Both sweet and holy varieties of basil are rich in β-carotene, lutein, and zeaxanthin.
- Saffron: As mentioned above, saffron contains two carotenoids important to eye health, crocin and crocetin, which give it its vibrant color.
- Coriander: Coriander, also known as cilantro, is rich in β-carotene, lutein, and zeaxanthin.
- Chili Powder: Chili powder contains a variety of carotenoids, including lutein, zeaxanthin, and β-carotene.
- Paprika: Paprika is made from ground bell peppers and is a good source of β-carotene and other carotenoids.
- Rosemary: It contains carotenoids including β-carotene, lutein, and zeaxanthin.
- Tarragon: This herb is another good source of β-carotene.
- Oregano: It also contains carotenoids, including β-carotene.
- Marigold: Marigold (specifically the species Tagetes erecta) is rich in lutein and zeaxanthin and is commonly used to produce lutein supplements.
- Cayenne Pepper: Cayenne pepper contains carotenoids, including capsanthin, capsorubin, and β-carotene.
- Dill, Parsley, and Thyme: These are good sources of carotenoids, especially β-carotene.
- Peppermint: Peppermint contains β-carotene among other carotenoids.
- Sage: This herb is known to contain carotenoids, including β-carotene and lutein.
These herbs and spices should complement a balanced and varied diet rich in fruits and vegetables. Furthermore, you can leverage knowledge from traditional medical systems, such as Ayurveda and TCM, to fine-tune your personal selection of healing herbs and spices.
Always remember to check the latest research for the most accurate information.

2023.06.07 11:50 VincentD90 The Future of The Brotherhood of Old [Sort of a mod announcement]
I have some big news about the future of
The Brotherhood of Old. I'm mostly writing this as a commitment to myself so that I actually do it, and also as a rallying call to those who may be interested in helping out. Feel free to read along as I think aloud. This will be a long read, so buckle up.
I have decided to cancel development of version 1.2 and shift my focus to developing version 2.0. This will obviously push any updates outside of 2023.
What is version 2.0? As stated in the previous announcement for version 1.2:
My main objective is to completely remake and restructure the final few quests, mainly "The Cults of Darkness" and "The True Brotherhood" as these are the most complicated and complex quests in the mod and often have issues running properly.
That will no longer be the main focus. What I aim to accomplish with version 2.0 is something I've been wanting to do for many years but have not had the time to do until recently... So now you're probably saying "Come on man, get to the point!" So, without further ado:
Version 2.0 at its core, will be a complete rework of the entire mod. While not rebuilt from the ground up, sweeping and extensive changes will be made. Making all of this happen will be no small feat, so I would like to take this opportunity to open things up to the community. I would like for this mod to turn into something made by a team. It would be great to have a team with diverse skills and ideas all contributing to it, rather than everything coming from the vortex that is my head. I am looking for talent in writing, level design, quest development, Papyrus, and 3D modelling.
If you are interested in signing up, please fill out this form. Here are some of the main things you can hope to expect:
A rewrite/revision + extension of the main story. More focus will be spent on player choice and freedom, rather than a story involving you basically babysitting the chosen one. While Vala Amatius will still be a key part of the narrative, it will no longer be strictly centered around her. Additionally, this will no longer be a story that assumes you played through or remember the events that happened in Oblivion, but it will reward those of you that have/do.
It will dive into exploring the history of the Dark Brotherhood and how it got to the point where it is presently in the original Skyrim story. You, the player, will have first-hand experience figuring out what exactly happened, how to prevent it from ever happening again, and how you plan on rebuilding the Brotherhood. Will you recruit new assassins first? Will you have new Sanctuaries opened? Will you restore the Black Hand, or operate on your own? Will you drive it all into the ground? The choice will be yours. You as the Listener will take a more active and hands-on role in how everything plays out. The story will no longer force you in any one direction, and you will have choice and agency at every turn. The decisions you make will play a pivotal role in how the story plays out and subsequently ends. While the Night Mother will still offer you suggestions on what to do and where to go, the final decision will always rest in your hands.
There will be a handful of interesting and fleshed out characters for you to choose from when recruiting. You will have freedom to choose among the characters you like, and will no longer be forced into selecting the ones that the mod chooses for you.
Each character introduced, which will include existing ones like J’Zakar, M’Jirra, Undil, Azuk and of course, Vala, will all have “loyalty missions” similar to how it’s done in Mass Effect. For those of you who don’t know what that means… Essentially, you will have the option to talk to each of these characters about their backstories, which will lead to you going on a little personal adventure with them if you so choose. By the end of these loyalty quests, you will be able to take each of them as a follower and companion who will also be marriageable if you want that.
Who are we up against? The Crimson Scars, who are the primary antagonist of this story, are an ancient splinter group of the Dark Brotherhood made up entirely of vampires. They believe that Sithis has ordered them to extinguish all non-vampires from the Dark Brotherhood and will stop at nothing to see this become a reality. In the original mod, they only show up near the tail end, and are basically shoe-horned in without much explanation. This will be changed in a big way. You will now encounter them much earlier on and they will be an active threat you experience throughout. Rumor has it that you may be able to join them, but that’s just hearsay. Subsequently, the Morag Tong will no longer be a part of this story and will be removed from it entirely unless there is a good reason for them to be involved.
New Sanctuary and location overhauls: All of the new locations added by the mod will receive complete overhauls and will look far better than they do currently.
New items, weapons, and armors: In addition to the bonus rewards you receive from quests, there will be new unique weapons and armors that any self-respecting Listener would enjoy.
So that’s basically it. It’s a very lofty and ambitious goal, but it is one I am committed to bringing to life. Again, if you are interested in helping me make this happen,
please sign up by filling out this form.
Thanks for reading, Tom Tesoro

ICSI: ICIS is an advanced procedure for treating male infertility problems. An expert at IVF Center Nepal surgically extracts a man's sperm from his ejaculate and directly injects one sperm into each egg to facilitate fertilization. 2. Egg Donation: This is an advanced fertility procedure where professionals borrow eggs from young, healthy, fertile women and fertilize them with the father's genetic sperm to create an embryo in an IVF lab. Once the embryo is formed, the embryologist selects the most active embryo to transfer to the mother's uterus and wait for pregnancy symptoms. 3. Egg freezing: This is an advanced technique acquired by women over 35 who wish to save their eggs early and use them later when they want to start a family. Women who want to freeze their eggs at Fertility Center Nepal must pay fixed annual fees of around 10% of standard IVF. In contrast, other fertility clinics charge 20 to 25% of the standard IVF cost. 4. PGD: PGD stands for Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis. It is an advanced technique performed by fertility specialists before embryo transfer to check for congenital disease attached to the embryo(s). If they find any genetic disease, they treat it and then do IVF. submitted by fertilitycentrenepal to u/fertilitycentrenepal [link] [comments] |
2023.06.07 11:48 Super_Protocol In Detail: Why’s and How’s of Deploying Our Own DNS
Super Protocol is building a decentralized network with confidential computing at its core (but you should probably know that if you’re a long-term Super follower). In the previous article, we covered how Testnet Phase Two enables this network to host websites with static content. While we’re gearing up for the next leap (which are dynamic applications using NextJS, by the way), there’s another thing that’s not often mentioned, yet imperative for the Super Protocol network to operate and be capable of supporting an unlimited number of applications, services, providers — basically, almost everything that could be found on the internet.
Have you already guessed what it is? And no, we’re not going to talk about high-scale architecture, data centers, or some other facilities typically mentioned in the context of the cloud. You’ve definitely heard the acronym DNS or the Domain Naming System. It’s not a super-hyped thing and usually mentions a spike in the media space when something goes wrong in a big way (like the infamous
2021 Facebook Outage, or the
great internet outage earlier that year).
First, a quick refresher on DNS: we already got the “if something is wrong with it, the internet breaks”. In simple terms, DNS makes user-friendly website names possible, so you could enter ‘superprotocol.com’ instead of an abstract combination of numbers. A more complex definition would be DNS is a network service that maps IP addresses to human-readable names. This service is one of the backbones of the modern internet with few trusted providers responsible for most of the web traffic.
So why reinvent the fundamentals once again, while we’ve stated multiple times that it’s way better to reuse already available components? Turns out, having few providers for the networking service as important as DNS is not the best setup if you’re building an unstoppable web of the future. There was no ready-to-use alternative for us, so we went along with building our own.
The good thing about creating your own infrastructural service is having total control over how it’s going to work and the features it could provide. Another awesome thing is removing limitations you’d have with third-party providers, such as a limited number of domains, hosts, or subdomains you could have (for example, with [
Cloudflare pages]). Having our own DNS would make the network more flexible and resilient, while also providing more options for its governance in the future.
Security at every level is one of the core ideas behind Super Protocol, so no surprise that with our own DNS, we’d be able to ensure advanced levels of protection, for example, prevent DNS Spoofing (a type of attack when a malicious actor uses a compromised DNS resolver machine to reroute the request to another website, or DNS hijacking which is similar in result, yet uses another type of vulnerability tempering with the resolver’s cache). Of course, traditional things required for a stable secure network, such as SSL certificates, will be added in the future (expected to be already implemented in Testnet Phase 3).
As for the upcoming features, we’re building DNS and components that would come with it and make the Super Protocol network truly decentralized and unstoppable (more on that in our upcoming updates).

2023.06.07 11:38 Aurelio_Rossa What decides if country joins reformation or stays catholic?
Hi, I play as the Pope (formed Kingdom of God already) and I am curious what makes countries join reformation or stay catholic? How to prevent my allies or big countries (that I cannot convert easily to get rid of Center of Reformation) from reforming? Can I even? I am the curia controller, if it matters.
