These so called cities has gone to a horrible extent with no infrastructure and planning of the government. Regular electricity cuts, no proper road management, poor infrastructure. Still rents so high that it is ridiculous.

Nearly 3 year relationship over and I feel lost.
I’m trying to find ways of handling it so I thought getting it into writing would help so here goes.
I (25m) met her (23f) online during the pandemic and we got along so well we wanted to meet when the lockdown was lifted. So we did. And from there started a great relationship. We were also long distance.
Like most people, we all have our quirks and things that we dislike about ourselves as people. We bonded over our views on relationships given the fact we both had similar upbringings (being in the middle of divorcing parents etc.). And there was a real sense of connection together that we weren’t going to repeat the same mistakes as our parents. We agreed that I came out of my parents’ situation on one end of the scale, by being more sensitive and affectionate and heart on my sleeve. And she, the other side, generally more calculated, negative and feels that all men end up hurting her. She also had the tendency to completely shut down and shut people out when things became difficult.
But we found the way around it all and fell in love. However, wearing my heart of my sleeve I know that I am that way because I still keep a lot of that hurt to myself and try to fill that void by being a better partner for her than my dad was to my mum. Or at least try to be. I have tendencies to use short term fixes to alleviate the way I feel and stress, through uni, it would be drinking, then after that it would be vaping. She didn’t mind me doing it at all but she obviously preferred I didn’t do anything like that at all. But she knew I was my own person and made my own choices.
During the earlier times of our relationship, I would have a pack of cigarettes that I would keep for a rainy day. I had one. Before catching the train to see her and once I hugged her, she could obviously smell it and asked me if I had one. I said no. I don’t know why but my instant reaction was to hide from it because I knew myself it was wrong. I hated that I do it but I know I lean into it to relieve stress and I don’t want her to think of me any different.
She found that I was clearly lying and she broke down in front of me and her mum. It triggers her because her mum would hide the same thing from her along with her dad who would just lie to her all the time. And she would say that every man in her life would lie to her and hurt her.
She felt she lost her trust in me, but we rebuilt.
Fast forward a year we went on a break for 8 months, we were arguing a lot and I had gotten myself into some stuff with university and needed to sort myself out. During which we had kept in touch and went on dates etc. before getting back together. The dates were strange. Started like she never knew me and I was like a stranger to her. Then she was into me then she wasn’t. It felt awful and I felt like should’ve seen the signs.
Fast forward again, since getting back together I finished uni got my career started (been there 7months now) and I needed to get my finances in order, start driving, those sorts of things. But she didn’t have those burdens as such. She never went to uni so she had no debts of any kind and only recently started driving too. But she always wanted more from me, I was needing to be sorting my finances out so that I could actually treat her the way I always wanted to and more.
She started complaining we don’t do much together, but I disagreed because we would go out on dinner dates, cinema walk our dog little enjoyable things because we didn’t have a lot of money. But even so, she wanted me to pay for everything all of the time and it was putting a lot of pressure on me because I was trying so hard to get myself sorted and eventually be able to start saving for a house and things and she would be annoyed I don’t do enough.
I did a lot for her, bought her new furniture while I was at uni with no money because I saw she hated the stuff she had that was falling apart. I would travel to her ALL the time when she would have reason not to come to me most of the time. It felt very one sided a lot of the time.
But going from that conversation, it was her birthday coming up and I had planned a spa break for the day and she said “oh, so not for the weekend then?” And it was so hard to not retaliate because I wish it could’ve been a weekend but I don’t have the money to facilitate that right now. So I then hired a cabin for the weekend on top of that.
We got there and it was perfect. We hadn’t spent some real quality time together for so long due to family and work commitments and money. We started to reconnect like all the hardship we were facing melted away.
Then she went on my phone to change a song. I don’t mind people being on my phone but after a while I do want it back but I have nothing to hide at all. She said she doesn’t like that but I’ve figured out that she was going through my messages whilst having that conversation with me and found that I had smoked a joint with my friends.
She broke down, left the cabin for 30 mins and came back, clearly crying and upset and she calmly sat down and said that she was done with being with me. She said I lied and didn’t tell her about it and she can’t handle me lying again.
I tried to talk to her but she was done. She drove me to the train station and I went home. She asked to message her once I was home and then we spoke for a bit. She said I need to sort myself out again and need to grow out of this phase of life. She’s ready to settle down with a life partner without secrets. And that killed me off. I didn’t tell her because it wasn’t a big deal to me and it was a one off from a long stressful week at work.
3 years gone down the drain and I feel like I wasn’t enough for her. It could have been sorted in a conversation but now it’s all over. I asked if she wanted me to leave her alone and never see me again and she replied with that’s all we can do. So I removed everything from social media and it’s done.
I feel lost and broken, I want her back so much but family have said that she wanted everything her way which really hit home for me because it does make some sort of sense with how she was with me.
I don’t know what to do, I moved cities to be closer to her and now I’m just left on my own with nothing.

I've been summoned to my local court approximately 6-7 times as a witness in 3 separate court cases.
Each time my California based supervisor's made me use my accrued time to cover it. I wanted to take them as unpaid however they were adamant about my using them.
I work in the VA. Office of my company and just found out that by law, here in VA. A company can not legally make you use your accrued time for appearing as a witness.
So, would I have a good case for a potential lawsuit ?

Hoping for some guidance to identify and know what to ask to treat some really unexpected and stubborn body fat gain.I've gained about 60 pounds in the last 3 1/2 years, this is the heaviest I have ever been in my life. I had my thyroid checked since my sister and father have hypothyroidism, so I was sure that was it.
My blood tests came back normal (slightly high cholesterol, slightly low iron). So while I didn’t get an answer, happy to see I’m in good health.
Now my weight has been up and down my entire life - I was obese as a child and have struggled mentally and physically with this since I was 9. I would say that it’s always been “easy” to gain and super difficult to lose or maintain. I have had periods of disordered weight management behavior though I have no official diagnosis.
In 2017 was my last period of restriction. It took about six months of heavy restriction to lose probably 20-25 pounds (I got down to 180). I was consuming between 1000-1200 kcal a day, and running 3-5 times a week.
I worked retail and lived in a major city. I would be walking several miles a day just by proxy of my life, and on my feet at work. This was not enough to maintain. Since then I’ve moved to the suburbs and work from home, which is when I think the major weight gain started. I was also in a serious depression so I wonder if that contributed.
I think what concerns me is how little I have to eat in order to lose fat. As I’ve gained over the past few years I have been doing everything in my power not to slip into those DE habits again. But it’s been difficult
.About a year ago I went plant-based / gut health focused for my diet. I am not counting calories but I am being cautious of portion sizes. I don’t snack a lot and while I’m not nearly as active as I used to be I am still trying to do 2 miles of walking every day (5 days a week at the least). I’m starting to incorporate strength training since April. So far, it’s slowed the gain but nothing seems to be working
.I’m thinking of asking my doctor for medical intervention at this point, I’m just not sure what to ask for. I don’t qualify to have insurance cover surgery, and I don’t think I want to go to that extreme but I am starting to feel a little desperate. This is something that impacts my mental and emotional health a lot which is why even though on paper I am healthy, I want to get down to something closer to average-sized.

Because of having a ridiculously OP Pikachu, Team Rocket's James, Jessie, and Meowth hunt him and Pikachu down for like 25 years.
Ash Ketchum also lost many Pokémon battles due to having a Pokémon team that could be better.
So, I asked, "What if Ash Ketchum wakes up early? Does the Pokémon anime change?" and the answer is, "Yes, it does!"
Here are some POSSIBLE changes if Ash Ketchum wakes up earlier.
WARNING: The anime MIGHT get boring.

1. His starter Pokémon is Squirtle instead of Pikachu while Gary Oak picks Bulbasaur from Professor Oak. Ritchie possibly gets Charmander. (Ash never gets the OP Pikachu nor does he get Squirtle from the Squirtle Squad and instead has a Blastoise.)
   
2. Ash Ketchum MAY travel alone similar to Red from Pokémon RBY/FRLG/Origins.
   
3. He may POSSIBLY have the chance of getting Red's Pokémon in the Pokémon Gen 1 like Snorlax, Eevee, and Lapras.
   
4. Since Ash Ketchum doesn't have the OP Pikachu, Team Rocket doesn't follow Ash Ketchum but meets him in different places just like in Pokémon Gen 1, that being Mt. Moon, Lavender Town (specifically the Pokémon Tower), Celadon City (Rocket Game Corner), Saffron City (Silph Co.), and Viridian City Gym where he battles Giovanni for the Earth Badge.
   
5. Ash now has a bigger chance of winning the Kanto Indigo League tournament. Since he wakes up earlier, he has a chance of meeting better Pokémon, add them to his team, and evolve them.
   

BONUS:

1. Ash Ketchum MIGHT'VE got Pidgey in Route 1, Zubat, Horsea, Psyduck, and Vulpix, or even better Pokémon like the ones I mentioned above, Snorlax, Eevee, and Lapras.
   
2. Gary Oak and Ash Ketchum battle in the finals instead of Ash VS Ritchie.
   
3. Both Ash Ketchum and Gary Oak MAY meet and battle the Kanto Elite Four, Lorelei, Bruno, Agatha, and Lance.
   
4. Ash travels the Orange Islands with Gary (who respects Ash after Ash beats Gary in the Indigo League) and they both travel the Islands with Tracey (and possibly Ritchie).
   
5. Ash Ketchum MIGHT still receive the OP Pikachu from Professor Oak AFTER he won the Pokémon League Tournament and proved himself worthy of owning dangerous and powerful Pokémon.

Ark Invest’s Cathie Wood added to her Coinbase holding Tuesday, unfazed by the Securities and Exchange Commission’s charges against the crypto exchange.
Wood snapped up 329,773 shares of Coinbase for her flagship ARK Innovation ETF in the previous session when the stock tumbled more than 12%. She also added 53,885 shares for ARK Next Generation Internet ETF as well as another 35,666 shares for Ark Fintech Innovation ETF. Combined, these purchases were worth more than $21.6 million based on Coinbase’s closing price of $51.61.
The SEC sued Coinbase in New York federal court on Tuesday morning, alleging that the company was acting as an unregistered broker and exchange and demanding that the company be “permanently restrained and enjoined” from continuing to do so.
Tuesday’s sell-off trimmed Coinbase’s 2023 gains to about 45%. The stock rebounded in 2023 after an abysmal 2022 that saw an 86% decline.
The crypto exchange is now ARKK’s sixth biggest holding with a 5.35% weighting. The innovation investor has been periodically adding to her Coinbase bet this year.
Wood has been sticking with her bold call on bitcoin despite the regulatory crackdown in the crypto industry. The ARK Invest chief sees the world’s largest cryptocurrency hitting about $1.3 million by 2030. Bitcoin trades below $27,000 currently.
The longtime crypto bull believes the price of bitcoin will surge if companies and institutional investors diversify their cash holdings with digital currencies.
Wood previously said the collapse of FTX is bullish for the industry as it would push the crypto space to be more transparent.
The SEC also sued Binance and its billionaire founder, Changpeng Zhao, this week, alleging that they worked to attract U.S. customers to its unregulated international exchange, commingled investor funds with their own and violated securities laws.

It was April 2006, in the Spanish town of Dos Hermanas, Seville, a teenager named Josué Monge disappeared.
On the day of his disappearance he arrived home with his school grades. He had failed some subjects. However, his parents, Antonio and María Isabel decided not to punish him for it and let him go to a friend's house to have a sleepover. His friends' house was only 300 meters away. Josué left with his bicycle and never arrived to his destination or returned back home.
Just 13 days after his disappearance, on the 23rd of April, Josué's father went to search for his son and never came back. The situation then became even more critical and confusing for the family. Slowly more details emerged about what had happened on the days before their disappearance.
María Isabel, the mother, had told her husband a few days before Josué went missing that she wanted a divorce. This was because she had been suffering physical abuse from his side for the past years.
The day before Antonio disappeared, María Isabel had told him she suspected he was involved in their son's disappearance. She also stated that the day Josué disappeared, Antonio had gone out for 5 hours and came back with brand new clothes on.

Possible Hypothesis
As a result of these confessions, an arrest warrant was issued for Josue's father. who was found guilty of his son's disappearance and charged with his murder. The main theories behind the disappearance are that Antonio took his son's life and ended up taking his own life after he became a suspect to his wife.
Another hypothesis was that the father could have abandoned Spain in the hopes of finding a new life and starting over.
The notice was spread to the Interpol and Europol as it is common with these cases.
They soon ignored the possibility of his escape as he had not taken out any money or received any sort of pension to pay for tickets. They looked every person that arrived into the European countries and even Morocco but they never found his name.
He had taken his van so they searched for traffic tickets and registers. The van was one of the main pieces that could prove to be key to the investigation. Therefore, the police sent letters to all the Spanish municipalities asking if the car had been reported for any offense or seen or if it had been removed by a tow and was in a depot. They searched rivers and the sea following another hypothesis that stated he could have droven into some river or off a cliff into the sea. But nothing was ever found.
As they were very religious, they also searched among Spanish sects, in case they could have taken refuge in one of them with a different name.
This case is known to have generated many theories but no reliable clues.

The last news on this case was published 2 years ago, in 2021. Some of the, recall what happened and the great sorrow María Isabel could have suffered this years.
There is still no answers to where both men could be or their bodies. It has been 17 years and there is still no evidence or trace of them.

The general election in the country last month saw the Move Forward Party win the most seats, a result that could challenge the status quo of former army chief Prayuth Chan-ocha, who has ruled Thailand since staging a military coup in 2014.
And on Sunday (4 June), the party’s leader Pita Limjaroenrat took part in the second annual Bangkok Pride parade, which returned to the city last year for the first time since 2006.

Hi everyone.
I am going to be traveling to a different continent to visit family. I'd like to use my car seat stroller to get around the airport (because we'll need it for traveling in the car when we're at family's houses and walking around the city and such). Baby will have her own seat but we likely won't use the car seat in the plane. I don't want her to be in it for 9 hours. (She will be 5 months at the time of the trip.)
How on earth do I push that and also carry my luggage? I'm going to have 2 large suitcases and the stroller.
Help please!

I gave a small shop my cylinder heads to powder coat, just the cylinders, removed the valve and everything for him. All he needed to do was sand blast and paint. He told me it would be done next weekend. This was the first week of may. Every time I call him he gives me a day it will be ready, and every time I call him on that day, sometimes a few days after he tells me another day, or that he’s busy this weekend.
I was super patient about it because I was still waiting for other parts to come in, but now they are all in and I’m halfway through the process of rebuilding my engine and he still hasn’t painted them, over a month later!
Every week I call him and he gives me a new date, yesterday he said they would be done and he would call me but never did. Basically at my final straw and might just go pick them up if they’re unfinished.
Hypothetically if they are already sandblasted would I be required to pay this guy for the price of the sandblasting because I am so angry at this guy already I’m willing to take him to a small claims court if he tries to charge me for unfinished work.

I know this might seem petty and stupid as hell although I really am willing to go this far, my cat has just recently been returned to me after having to live in a shelter for the last few months and came back with the pendant for her collar missing, I looked for it again on Amazon but they don't sell them anymore, I looked EVERYWHERE for it but I can't find another one ANYWHERE, I know this probably seems REALLY stupid to be thinking about going to small claims court over a cat collar pendant although I don't care, if the shelter isn't willing to return it or says they can't find it, what can I do to take them to small claims for loss of property and make sure I WIN? If anyone is actually willing to help even if they think I'm overreacting, please do, even if it's advice for how to get it back some other way without going to court, I'll take it, I'll take whatever advice I can get. For context I live in New Brunswick Canada.
ETA: I already have a picture of her with the pendant less than an hour before she was picked up and one that was taken of her today without it.
