2023.05.30 22:07 djstretchnuts incredibly loud music heard in ardmore & lower merion township last night
I posted something similar in
philadelphia and was curious if anyone in lower merion township, particularly in the ardmore/wynnewood/bala cynwyd area heard anything last night.
between 11:30 and midnight I heard, what sounded like to me, a full blown concert going on outside my bedroom window. the music was so loud and intense that I could feel the vibrations in my walls and entire house. initially thinking it was a house or someone’s car on the street behind mine, I took a walk around the block only to discover this music was coming from a far greater distance in the direction of philly.. LM police were getting complaints all night long as well. it finally stopped around 2 in the morning much to my disbelief.
I’m just curious if anyone here also heard what I heard. a few people on the philly sub told me it could’ve been a “boom car” party, and a friend of mine had also told me he could hear the same music all the way out in gladwyne.. but for me to hear it clear as day from the city out in the suburbs means it was LOUD wherever it was originally coming from. never heard anything like that before in my area and I hope it doesn’t become a more frequent occurrence!

2023.05.30 22:03 yolorehab Market Recap - 5/20/23 - everything is over bought
| The Fed Fed's Barkin: There is more willingness among businesses to try to increase prices, and that will continue until demand falls. FED policy is in restrictive territory, but there is uncertainty around where rates need to go. Core PCE is not moving fast enough. I feel a July hike is very much on the table now (still think June would be a pause). https://preview.redd.it/0m0in1i9h03b1.png?width=936&format=png&auto=webp&s=7fee67d20793caaea1b9103737ac2209b1c5d54e Market implied June hike probability is now close to 70%. https://preview.redd.it/ghhdrjm7h03b1.png?width=2360&format=png&auto=webp&s=b1f59d5e44d4fa156ced417e8c5891ffa159c80a Holiday travel spending remains strong. The U.S. screened nearly 9.8 million airline passengers over the four-day holiday weekend, surpassing pre-COVID 2019 levels by 300,000, according to the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). Euro area money supply (M1) dropped 5.2%, reaching a historic low. If the decline continues (which it probably will), the EU zone will enter a recession in the second half of 2023 (Germany is technically already in a recession). https://preview.redd.it/sjnbwed5i03b1.png?width=936&format=png&auto=webp&s=160cbaea1e30f88be75b9c55560615e77a26e525 The Economy May's Dallas Fed Manufacturing index fell to -29.1, worse than the estimated -18 and the previous month's -23.4. Notably, new orders, shipments, delivery times, and outlook all declined further, indicating a deeper contraction. Both production and capital expenditures shifted from expansion to contraction. However, like the results shown in other regional surveys, employment experienced a slight increase. https://preview.redd.it/hl2c37ini03b1.png?width=936&format=png&auto=webp&s=480ca3219f0ebbc90584101314e7f8ca2ec65f34 https://preview.redd.it/qbcivq2oi03b1.png?width=936&format=png&auto=webp&s=7897c9d07f0cc770dd595b54970b36801d8aa6ca Conference Board consumer confidence declined slightly in May. “Consumer confidence declined in May as consumers’ view of current conditions became somewhat less upbeat while their expectations remained gloomy,” said Ataman Ozyildirim, Senior Director, Economics at The Conference Board. “Their assessment of current employment conditions saw the most significant deterioration, with the proportion of consumers reporting jobs are ‘plentiful’ falling 4 ppts from 47.5 percent in April to 43.5 percent in May. https://preview.redd.it/ixsdxhzui03b1.png?width=936&format=png&auto=webp&s=73e5b47362bad6b1975d8f3f1b6bfb5806862d3b It's encouraging to see that most coincident economic indicators are holding up well and not signaling an impending recession. The Business RBC is the latest to lift year-end target: “.. we are lifting our YE 2023 S&P 500 price target from 4,100 to 4,250 [and] lifting our 2023 S&P 500 EPS forecast to $213 from $200 .. the case against US equities relative to non-US equities has been overstated .. and think Small Caps are at an attractive entry point ..” A great summary of the impact of US government spending on stock/bond performance. Stock tends to perform better when Uncle Sam is out shopping. Bonds tend to be under press as the spending was made on borrowed money. The rally that followed the re-opening of China's economy has come to an abrupt halt, and certain indices are now nearing bear-market territory. https://preview.redd.it/poa1kmd4k03b1.png?width=936&format=png&auto=webp&s=6e79da31db2bd4f8742c39ec011a2ffd81009bf8 I have mentioned many times that large growth stocks have had a tremendous year so far, while small and mid-cap stocks have significantly underperformed due to economic uncertainty. However, if the uncertainty begins to settle in the second half of the year, small and mid-cap valuations will become very attractive compared to large growth names. https://preview.redd.it/ki5uvl4qk03b1.png?width=936&format=png&auto=webp&s=0194491ec0c7f2b45a60158e88e9f462a77f88a2 https://preview.redd.it/vygwe7iwk03b1.png?width=936&format=png&auto=webp&s=b516b3a98603349fa93d4073039c76d15c15796a Many believe that semis are no longer cyclical because everything now requires chips, leading to a constant supply shortage. However, this chart suggests otherwise. If the PMI resumes its decline later this year (if indeed we are heading into a recession), semiconductor stocks will likely face demand shocks. https://preview.redd.it/jgc8cckil03b1.png?width=936&format=png&auto=webp&s=95622425bd6f8ce3354dfa8984d0989725a422e4 This is the first time I've seen someone quantify the correlation between forward equity returns and sentiment. 2023.05.30 22:02 One-Subject-4181 My building has been for sale for 6 months with constant showings [PA]
My landlord listed my apartment building for sale in late November. The building is 2 apartment units and a storefront. The other unit was previously occupied, but they moved out last month. The storefront is currently the base to a political nonprofit— they have office hours a few days a week, but they mainly operate remotely when it’s not election season.
There have been approximately 1-3 showings of the building a week since it was put up for sale, plus 2 inspections. I work from home, so the constant showings during work hours is very disruptive. Not to mention early showing on weekends and frequent last-minute cancellations. I’m considering moving out because strangers are constantly coming into my apartment to judge it. I feel so much pressure to keep things spotless because it almost feels like an interview from potential landlords, and I am scared to make a bad impression.
Is there anything I can do? I typically get 24 hours notice, but sometimes it’s more like 20. I live in a very small town with a unique last name, and I don’t want to make a wrong move that will stick with me long term. But it’s also getting very old, and the realtor will regularly spell my name wrong in texts or send “Hello???” if I don’t respond to her fast enough.
Thanks in advance for any advice!

2023.05.30 21:59 NerdWithoutGlasses_ I'm in love with my best friend. He already has a Gf
So i (25F) had a male flatmate (25M), we went to the same University. We became friends really quick after we started staying together ( there were 2 other people in the house). We bonded over food, cooking, music, drinks you name it. He started doing things like really out of his way for me. For example i just mentioned in passing that I love peaches. He walked almost 4-5km in sweltering heat just to get them for me. He planned the most elaborate b'day with loads of thougtful gifts for me. Now he told a friend of mine he likes me & she coveyed it to me. At the time I got flustered, I had gone through a messy breakup & he was my best friend I just didn't want to complicate things. So i told her no i only saw him as a friend. That was it, he never approached me romantically or even in any touchy feely way. We continue to be great friends. About 3 months later he starts dating another girl. This was with about 5 months remaining to university so i always assumed it was you know like a last fling before college ends. It's been about 10 months or so & they're still together. We no longer stay together since we're done with university. Him & I are in the same city, his gf is in another. We do hangout & talk, I love his family. And now i think i made a great mistake rejecting him. I do really think we could be something long term if we got together but I don't have the balls to say anything considering i turned him down once & now that he has a gf it just seems like a very mean thing to do. What do you guys think I should do, say something, keep my mouth shut, wait & watch???? Help 😭

2023.05.30 21:59 JhonnyDeezwhat Traveling alone to the DRC to follow the congo river
I'm planning my trip now.
I would love to do mostly nature hikes and camping around or not too far outside of Kinshasa. My main goal is too see the congolese country, people and jungle. Is it safe to rent a car and drive from village to village and plan my camp nights accordingly ? ( rooftop tent install). Is this possible ? Can't seem to find a lot of info.
How is the safety when outside of the city ? And inside the city ? Can i as a foreigner just walk around the city in local areas ?
Can i go to villages and be welcomed there witouth issue as in my travels in morocco ? ( some saw me setting up a tent during winter and told me to sleep in their house, as their culture is very kind to guests and they would not allow me to sleep outside. Lovely !)
I'm fluent in french. 28 y/o man. I have traveled trough tanzania, morocco, rwanda, Uganda.
Please don't come at me with the typical worst case scenario's, I don't believe it.😅. Unless it actually happens very often.
I was told the same thing for every South american country i traveled trough, in reality, as long as you are respectful they were really helpful and decent people. Also keeping a sharp mind and logical thinking takes you a long way.
Any advise from locals or travelers is very much appreciated !!!
Greetings !

2023.05.30 21:58 djazzie Should I sell my investment property and buy a farm?
Back in 2021, I came into some cash and was able to purchase an investment property. I bought a 2 bd apartment in a quiet and private development, a 10 minute walk from my residence. It was a great deal, as we bought a fixer upper. We put about €5-6k into fixing and furnishing it, and have been renting it out since. We net about €300/month, so we’re really essentially breaking even when you account for taxes and repairs (though nothing major has been needed yet).
However, the real estate market in my city has exploded. By one estimate, if I sold my apartment today, I could make anywhere from 10-50% on our initial investment (my guess is that it’d probably end up being about 20-35%).
At the same time, my wife and I have been yearning to buy a small farm. One where we could go to on the weekends, spend time fixing up, and just enjoy.
It’s entirely feasible that we could sell the apartment and find something that we like and is in good enough condition that we could essentially pay for in cash without having to do major structural work. The downside is that it’s likely that a country property won’t appreciate nearly as fast, and probably will cost more for upkeep in the long run. We could potentially put it on Airbnb as well to make up some of the difference.
It feels like the economy is slowing down so I’m not even sure if this would be the right time to sell. Housing still is fairly hot in my area, though it’s probably a little slower than it has been recently.
How should I gauge the right time to sell? Or should I just keep it for when I’m ready to retire? By then, it’ll be paid off and I can live there mortgage free.

2023.05.30 21:57 No-Shirt-484 Thanks - Kettlebell follow up
I wrote a few months back an article titled
Kettlebell Explosion. I just wanted to say thanks to everyone for the encouraging words. Also, the journaling from that article (and some journaling I did later) was especially helpful for me in reflecting on the years of abuse I suffered from my wife and finally putting an end to a miserable relationship. Just finished the settlement agreement last week. It’s been a slough, and we still have to interact for a few months as we negotiate the sale of the house, but I feel like I’m on the downhill side of things. It has been an eye opening experience to say the least. Thanks again!

2023.05.30 21:57 making-a-luigi-board My partner is probably going to be homeless next week and I dont know what to do (UK)
Hi guys, posting kind of on behalf of my partner here. I'll keep it as brief as I can.
We've lived together for almost 2 years now. We moved into our current flat from a house share 8 months ago and at the same time my partner lost his job. The rent was already a bit too high for us and for the time we've lived here I've worked extra hours and he's paid his half of everything with savings (which have now run out). We gave in our months notice last month because we could no longer afford to live here without going into some serious debt, with no way to pay it back in the near future.
We have to be out next week, and while my parents said I could go back to living with them, for some reason despite claiming they like my partner they refuse to let him live there even temporarily. Obviously, I'm fuming and very hurt by this. But I also can't turn down a place to live especially when I'm the only one with a secure job. My partner won't go back to his parents home. For one thing, its kind of in the middle of nowhere and over an hour from the city we're based in, but mainly due to an emotionally abusive parent. And on the one hand I fully understand why he's so adamant that he won't go back. I know what that parent is like and the idea of my partner being stuck with them makes me sick. But on the other hand, he has literally nowhere else to go.
He has 2 siblings, one up country so is way too far away, and the other actually lives nearby, but has 2 babies and is low income, so can't really take in a full grown man with no income. He's applying for assisted/emergany housing and homeless shelters now and has contacted the council (for reference, we live in the UK, the councils here have their own homeless support systems. Also, as I'm writing this it's 9pm) but I've lived in the Y myself and damn do those guys take their sweet time finding you a room and doing all their admin. And that's if they have space- our local one only has 30 rooms in the 'first step' housing.
I'm at my wits end, I have nothing left to help him. I've applied for 3 houses and paid holding deposits I cant really afford on 2. We've been accepted but we still have to go through referencing (for American folks, basically background checks. I dont know what it's called in the US) and its always a drawn-out process so we might fail and be back at step one again. And if we do get accepted for a new home, it'll still be at least a 2 week period between leaving this place and moving in.
I dont know what to do, any advice is very much appreciated.

2023.05.30 21:52 ChaiseLounged Life Estate / Will question
I just found an addendum to my grandmother's will that I never noticed when she passed away. The family lawyer took long time to handle her will and refused to communicate. He mailed out the will and then updates but no addendum. I just found it in an old cooking book my Grandmother gave me. It is signed with witnesses and is dated the same time as the latest will.
This addendum states that my Mother could continue to live in her house as long as her taxes were paid. It seemed strange to me until I learned about life estates via google.
It states if my Mother's re taxes weren't paid , the house would be sold and proceeds to put in a trust. And it also state if my Mother died before the house was sold for non payment of taxes, that the house would pass immediately to me. Making me the remainderman.
"What is a remainderman beneficiary?
A remainderman is considered the beneficiary of a life estate and stands to inherit any remaining property after the life tenant's death"
My Mother, her daughter, was put under a conservatoguardian without consulting me.
Recently this same guardian was focus of a person who worked on #freebritney campaign for britney spears.
She is being scrutinized because of her mistreatment of a different ward. She seems untouchable and is clearly a bad person who steals from her wards. Not only does she for gubmint agency that handles seniors who need help, she has the perfect pipeline there to get victims.
My Grandmother and Mother co owned my childhood home.
No mortgage.
My Mother was doing fine living alone until my Grandmother died. Then suddenly my Mother's access to any money was stopped and her big ssa/ssdi payments stop being deposited.
I didnt learn of this for nearly a year.
By then my Mother was in a bad state due to her diabetes. The guardian forcibly removed her from her house, threw away or secretly sold her belongings and then sold her house in 2008.
My grandmother left my Mother money, around xxx,xxx to cover taxes, etc. Since the guardian is supposed to pay her taxes, it would be her fault if the taxes weren't paid and a sale was triggered.
So the guardian sold the house inspite of this addendum. How would that be legal and shouldn't I have been informed?

2023.05.30 21:47 Dutchinthemountains Moving North of Oneida Lake
Hi everyone! I’m looking to either purchase property (5+ acres, budget is around $300,000) or find an apartment in the meantime ($1000-$1300) I’m mostly looking in the Central Square area, 10-15 miles within that general vicinity. Does anybody have recommendations on apartment complexes, rentals or properties for sale? I’m already on Zillow, realtor.com, all these housing websites.
Thanks in advance!

2023.05.30 21:47 Hollow760 I went out running on the streets of Delhi in a sports bra. Never again.
Literally every uncle, aunty, and kid on the road was staring at me with their mouths agape. I am not exaggerating when I say that I saw 80-90 people literally stop and turn around to watch me. Their judgemental eyes left a crawling sensation on my skin.
Isn't Delhi supposed to be the capital of this "superpower"? Isn't Delhi supposed to be a "metropolitan" city? Is this what us Indians can do the best, seriously?
I'm seriously considering emigrating just based off this one incident. Because the street is different- it's all strangers. What hurt the most is when I got home after everyone woke up.
My wife starting crying when I walked into the house. My own kids froze still in terror. My grandmother had a heart attack and collapsed on the floor. May her soul rest in peace.
India is not a safe place for balding middle-aged men to go out running in a sports bra and booty shorts.

2023.05.30 21:45 Beneficial-Bat1025 Postdoc in London
Hello
I am a recent PhD graduate in operations research. I really enjoyed my time as a PhD because of all the freedom you have, both in working hours as well as in the kind of work you do. I also appreciated the ability to take many holidays and the flexibility take time off pretty much whenever I wanted. I also never got too stressed and seemed to deliver good results in general. Furthermore, the salary was pretty good and we had good fring benefits, such as holiday bonuses. For these reasons, I am interested in doing a postdoc now that I finished my PhD.
I came across a very interesting position, which deals with very similar topics as my PhD research. It would be a no-brainer to go for it, except the position is in London. I have nothing against the city of course, but I am aware the housing market is quite bad and that it can be dangerous at times. Furthermore, the position is for 3 years and the salary doesn't seem so high for London. To be precise, the salary is around 41500 GBP per year before taxes. That would translate to around 2700 GBP per month net. Would this be a decent salary to live in London? Would it be enough to still save some money?
The position in at King's college London. Does anyone have experience working there as a postdoc or as a researcher in general? Do researchers get treated well? Do postdocs get good salaries and fringe benefits?
Thanks!

The new live-action 'The Little Mermaid' movie stars Halle Bailey and Melissa McCarthy. Make sure to keep on reading to learn where you can watch and stream it.
Folks, it's time to dive under the sea once again. Over the last few years, Disney has recreated their top animated musical films into live-action movies. The Little Mermaid is no different, and viewers can't wait to swim into theaters to catch a glimpse of how the movie will stand up against the original version.
Walt Disney Studios has established a remarkable trend of making live-action remakes of its classic stories. One after the other, all the fairytales of the past era are being brought to life by the studio in an attempt to tell the magical stories in a new light of living characters. With the live-action Peter Pan & Wendy due out in April, Disney will continue their string of live-action remakes a month later with The Little Mermaid.
Get ready to go "under the sea!" The latest of Disney's hugely successful line of live-action remakes, Ariel (Halle Bailey) is set to return to theaters for the first time in almost thirty-five years with The Little Mermaid (2023). The Walt Disney Company once again invites audiences to travel under the sea to see Princess Ariel's story unfold like never before. Featuring direction from veteran musical filmmaker Rob Marshall and other roles inhabited by major Hollywood stars like Melissa McCarthy as Ursula the Sea Witch and Javier Bardem as King Triton, the film is bound to be a bona fide hit at the box office.
Though the upcoming and highly anticipated film will have stiff competition against two stand-up comedians on the weekend it releases, The Little Mermaid is destined to show that life is better down where it's wetter under the sea this Summer movie season. To find showtimes and streaming information on Disney's latest big-budget reimagining of an animated classic, here is where you can watch The Little Mermaid.
Actress Halle Bailey as Ariel, the iconic mermaid princess who longs to be part of the the mysteriously world housed above the ocean floor. When she saves the handsome Prince Eric (Jonah Hauer-King) from a shipwreck, she makes a deal with the sea witch Ursula (Melissa McCarthy) in order to gain human legs and go on land to impress him. But there's one catch to the transaction: Ariel must trade her voice in order for her to try and see the things she's after. But as fans of the original 1989 film know, this comes with a series of consequences that threaten both her existence and the lives of those she loves.
Before we ask if you're interested in seeing this, we know you are. But like us, you're probably wondering how to watch and stream The Little Mermaid online. Luckily, we have some clues and it's likely to land on a major streaming site very soon. So climb aboard, because here's where to watch and stream The Little Mermaid online.
What Is the Release Date for The Little Mermaid?
Ariel's quest to go from a mermaid into a human begins anew when The Little Mermaid premieres this Memorial Day Weekend on Friday, May 26th, 2023. The film will be going up against not one, but two stand-up comedians and their films that weekend, with Sebastian Maniscalco's About My Father and Bert Kreischer's The Machine premiering on the same day. That said, The Little Mermaid will almost certainly be the choice for younger audiences and families.
While some Disney films are heading straight to Disney+, The Little Mermaid will first be shown exclusively in theaters.
Where To Watch The Little Mermaid Online:
As of now, the only way to watch Fast X is to head out to a movie theater when it premieres on May 26, 2023. You can find a local showing on Fandango.
Watch Now: The Little Mermaid (2023) Movie Online Free
Otherwise, you’ll just have to wait for it to become available to rent or purchase on digital platforms like Amazon, Vudu, YouTube or Apple, or become available to stream on Disney+.
How to Watch The Little Mermaid
At the moment, you can watch The Little Mermaid at your local theater. But like most movies these days, it should hit a streaming website in the near future.
Like its predecessor, The Little Mermaid is a flick produced by multimedia conglomerate Disney. What's more, the production studio owns a number of other famous franchises, like the Marvel Cinematic Universe and Star Wars. Titles made under these umbrellas have both hit Disney+ sometime after arriving at the box office. Fans may also know the original Little Mermaid is currently available to stream on the site as well. So, if the 2023 version follows the same pattern, folks will likely get to see The Little Mermaid on Disney+ later this year too.
As for an exact release date for The Little Mermaid, that's more complicated. Most movies produced by Disney often go to its streamer site within three months after debuting in theaters, like the most recent Marvel film Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. If this is the case for The Little Mermaid, it will probably drop in late August 2023 or sometime near Labor Day in early September.
When the time comes for The Little Mermaid to splash onto Disney+ though, make sure you're all prepared to watch it. If you don't have access yet, you can opt into a 30-day free trial before choosing a plan that start at $7.99 per month or $79.99 per year. After your account is all set, click on the title page on Disney+'s official website or the Disney+ app.
As you wait for The Little Mermaid to hit the streamer, why don't you watch the animated version and its sequel The Little Mermaid 2: Return to the Sea? Or if you want to immerse yourself in another live-action version, click on the 2019 ABC TV special The Little Mermaid Live!. Enjoy!
Will The Little Mermaid Be in Theaters or on Streaming?
Unlike several of Disney's other live-action remakes such as Pinocchio and Peter Pan & Wendy, The Little Mermaid will be exclusively in movie theaters first with tickets available for pre-sale now.
After The Little Mermaid has completed its exclusive theatrical run, the film will be released on the Disney+ streaming service. Based on Disney's past release models, the film won't be made available to stream before 45 to 90 days after its theatrical release.
When will The Little Mermaid be streaming on Disney+?
The Little Mermaid Disney+ premiere date is tentatively estimated to be August 30, 2023.
While no official Little Mermaid streaming date has been confirmed by Disney, most of its major movie releases drop on Disney+ following a minimum 90-day period, and typically premiere on the platform on Wednesdays, making Wednesday, August 30 the most likely date for Disney’s The Little Mermaid live-action streaming release.
Will The Little Mermaid Be Streaming On Disney+?
The 2023 version of The Little Mermaid will only be in theaters initially. After The Little Mermaid has completed its exclusive theatrical run, it is likely to stream on Disney Plus. You can also watch the animated version of Hans Christian Andersen's 1837 fairy tale of Ariel on Disney Plus now.
While you will only be able to catch the new "The Little Mermaid" in theaters starting next Friday, you can still sign up for Disney+ now to refresh yourself on the characters, song, plot and magical fun from the highly anticipated film. The 1989 version of the movie was a catalyst for Disney's animation renaissance throughout the '90s and it still holds up today.
An ad-supported Disney+ subscription starts at $8 per month, but you can get an ad-free access to the service for $11 monthly or bundle the Disney streaming service with Hulu and ESPN+ starting at $13 per month. Disney+ boasts a huge collection of movies and television series, including Marvel and Star Wars content. If you add in Hulu and ESPN, you have nearly unlimited entertainment at your fingertips.
Is The Little Mermaid streaming on Netflix?
No, The Little Mermaid will not be on Netflix — at least not any time soon. In the meantime, you’ll just have to head out to a movie theater or wait for it to become available to stream on Disney+.
Will The Little Mermaid Be On HBO Max?
No, The Little Mermaid will not be on HBO Max since it’s not a Universal Pictures movie. Last year, the company released its films in theaters and on the streamer on the same day. However, they now allow a 45-day window between the theatrical release and the streaming release.
Is The Little Mermaid Available On Hulu?
Viewers are saying that they want to view the new animation movie The Little Mermaid on Hulu. Unfortunately, this is not possible since Hulu currently does not offer any of the free episodes of this series streaming at this time. It will be exclusive to the MTV channel, which you get by subscribing to cable or satellite TV services. You will not be able to watch it on Hulu or any other free streaming service.

There are a few ways to watch The Little Mermaid online in the U.S. You can use a streaming service such as Netflix, Hulu, or Amazon Prime Video. You can also rent or buy the movie on iTunes or Google Play. You can also watch it on-demand or on a streaming app available on your TV or streaming device if you have cable.

What is The Little Mermaid About?
The official synopsis for The Little Mermaid by Walt Disney Studios read:
“The Little Mermaid” is the beloved story of Ariel, a beautiful and spirited young mermaid with a thirst for adventure. The youngest of King Triton’s daughters and the most defiant, Ariel longs to find out more about the world beyond the sea, and while visiting the surface, falls for the dashing Prince Eric. While mermaids are forbidden to interact with humans, Ariel must follow her heart. She makes a deal with the evil sea witch, Ursula, which gives her a chance to experience life on land, but ultimately places her life – and her father’s crown – in jeopardy.
There is not much mystery in The Little Mermaid's plot. As seen in Disney's many other live-action remakes, it is anticipated that the film's plot will largely stick to the original. With the well-known song "Part of Your World," in which Ariel sings about her wish to be a part of the world beyond the water, i.e., the human realm, the teaser already alluded to Ariel's fascination with the human world. Fans will get to see Ariel and Prince Eric's romance as they deal with the challenges posed by their differences.

Fans will get to see Ariel and Prince Eric's romance as they deal with the challenges posed by their differences.
