2023.05.30 12:46 BlueJDMSW20 What's a small start up where I can get some tools, similar to what harbor freight sells, and make several $hundred a day?

I'm in the trade of truck driving, but it's a lifestyle, it's not just a job. It consumes so much time, that I do it for months on end, burn out, and then come back to it several months later. Great way to kill time while I figure out where I want to go next :-\ . And btw...a lot of trucking JOBS, SUCK. Yes you can make money in the industry, but IMO most the jobs are BAD and desperate people take them due to life's circumstances, but it's a constant thread that there are some unfair labor practices in the industry that needlessly drive anger and frustration.
For a while I was selling items on Ebay, but it wasn't a money maker, but paid a few $ here and there even if I had 25 items listed at any given time.
I've got an EIN #, I just need to file paperwork.
I'm not a mechanic, and I'm no handyman. I can learn some things that are hands on, I'm not good with my hands (why trucking has worked out good enough for me so far, I am not a mechanic and I hate hands on stuff except for swinging doors, and hooking up gladhands). , has helped me with my lack of motor skills in regards to my hands, over the years I've learned the nuances that separate a rookie from a veteran trucker, but I think a normal trucker who might take 2 years to learn that stuff, took me closer to 4.
I've been thinking of some mild twitch content creation like F1nni5ter, 3dprinting, hydroponics lab for pot growing in the basement (I don't even smoke the stuff, but I know a lot of fundamentals on how to grow it from previous times) If I got a commercial grow, yes I would be perfectly ok with growing pot in my basement, and then baking them into cookies/edibles in our kitchen. Sodablasting/media blasting, I can buy that tool, but I found when it comes to that, you really need to know the nuances of what can vs cant be media blasted because otherwise you're very likely to damage it + I'd be going up against other handymen in the area who know all the tricks of the trade or have been doing it for years.
The other idea I been tossing around is save up more money for my own daycab, but that takes a lot more money than what I have right now.

2023.05.30 12:31 ladymaggpie My dog got in two fights in a row

Context: my husband and I live in Turkey (we're foreigners there) last year we adopted a mix- bully breed dog here. Her name is Luna. She's been spayed (as is the law here for her breed), friendly, playful, and (relatively) well trained. She wants to play with or atleast greet every single dog she sees.
There's only one dog park near us (it's new) and recently we've been taking her there to play with her best friend, another bully dog named Zeus(male).
Today, when we took her to play with Zeus, a huge female Cane corso dog got territorial amd jumped on our dog and started a fight. Luna fought back but she was mostly on the ground since the other dog was much larger. We seperated them and the Cane Corso owner took her dog away. She seemed worried that we might be mad at her, but since Luna wasn't really injured , we said it's fine. Luna got a few scratches and her dog's ear got wounded.
Since we had just got there, we let Luna play with zeus for a few minutes (like idiots). That's when the cherry on top of the crap sundae happened. The only other dog who was in the dogpark (female‌, medium sized, slightly smaller than Luna) and had been playing with Zeus before we arrived, started growling at Luna a couple of times. Luna ignored her and kept running around and playing, wwgging her tail. Now that I think about it, We should have leashed Luna to avoid another fight right then. We were standing very close to Luna and participating in her play, and the new dog's owner (a young man) was sitting far away on a bench.
Anyways, when the new dog (medium size) snapped her teeth at Luna, Luna got provoked and pushed het back and bit her ear, while the new dog bit her neck. Luna usually ignores this kind of aggressive behaviour, but I think she was riled up after her previous fight and she over-reacted. After Luna pushed the other dog on the ground, she got back and we grabbed her by the harness and kept her in place. The dog's owner got off the bench and started yelling at us to not bring our dog here anymore. His dog was fine, but her ear was bloody. Luna got a wounded throat.
We told the other dog parent that his dog attacked ours first, but he was still pissed off. He took his dog away to take care of her ear. We left with Luna as well, feeling terrible. Even though Luna didn't initiate any of the fights and even got mostly beaten up at the first fight, the fact is that she was in two fights in a row, leaving bloody ears all over the place, and looking like the aggressive dog who likes picking fights.
I doubt we take her there again. There are a lot of unneutered/unspayed and territorial dogs there, so chances of fights happening are high. Ans everyone is always gonna blame Luna because she's a bully breed. But I just want to know, was what happened only our fault? I think the second dog's owner should take some responsibility as well because he saw his dog growling/snapping at another dog (while said dog was just playing with her friend)multiple times and didn't do anything.
Do you think it's ok to take Luna there to socialize there if we keep her leashed? How mad would you be if your dog got a bloody ear? And finally, any advice for these situations and how to avoid/ stop fights?
