2023.03.20 22:27 TheComrade11-8 Is there any limit?
Hello everyone, I am a new player and I have a question, if for example a player is injured and it is known that it will take several months to return to play, can you buy for example 10 limited cards of that player taking advantage of the price drop? Or is there any rule that prevents you from having many repeated cards of the same player? Thank you very much.

2023.03.20 22:27 RedLabelIB I (31F) have absolutely had enough of my best friend/Ex Girlfriend (54F)
I’ve posted a few posts since this is all started. If you want to go back and read them for some context.
So after I stuck up for myself, we just stopped talking. I came into work every day and just ignored her. We kept up appearances so other people in the office didn’t know we aren’t okay - but we just stopped talking unless we absolutely had to. I started to feel better once I knew it was all over and she was just leaving me to it.
A little bit of context - I’m having a really hard time at the moment in my personal life. My mum and stepdad split up last year and are in the process of selling the house I currently live in - so I have been scrambling to find my own place as well as dealing with my mum who is stressing me out, it’s constant arguments and stress at home so it’s just a lot for me to deal with as well as trying to buy my own place. Anyway, I have bought my apartment and I’ve been going through the process for the last 6 months. There’s been so much stress and humps on the road - I’ve been struggling and this has all had a big effect on my mental health. I got given a possible completion date of 27th March. So I’ve booked 3 weeks off so I can get moved in, paint and get situated etc. everyone at work has been asking for updates on my house so I made sure I text my ex so that if anyone mentioned me and the house she already knew and didn’t look like an idiot not knowing what her “best friends” house situation was. The text from me was this:
I’m just reminding you that I’m not in on Monday. I booked all those random Mondays off to give myself 2 days rest. And I’ve got from 27th booked as possible moving out date so booked 3 weeks.
Her reply was:
I’ll do your messages don’t worry. Enjoy your rest, you deserve it.
That was a couple of weeks ago. Yesterday, I decided to remind her just Incase she forgot. I sent this:
** I’m off again tomorrow just reminding you. And then I’m off next week for 3 weeks.**
Her reply:
Hope the move goes well. And I hope you’ll both be very happy x
So I am under the impression here that she knows I’m moving in on 27th and that I’m off for 3 weeks. As the message said, I was off work today and I was going for the final viewing at my new place. As I’m sitting in my car waiting to go in I get this message:
** (colleagues name) just told me you are moving in on the 27th. I felt foolish saying I didn’t know anything about it. We are now at the end of the road - completely. There is no point sending the odd text occasionally, so Goodbye and good luck.**
I completely flipped out because I DID tell her. I’m sick to death of these random messages from her out of the blue with accusatory tones. We ended up arguing through messages for around an hour with her saying I’m a hypocrite etc. and then when she decided she’d had enough of the arguing she told me to stop messaging her, like it was me who started it.
This woman has made me ill. Buying my first home is supposed to be exciting and this whole experience has been clouded by her upsetting me and making me feel bad.
I’m so tired.

2023.03.20 22:27 Orsnir M2 Pro vs M1 Pro, ur opinion matters
Hey guys! So i am in the verge of buying a new MacBook for intense music production. (Using Cubase) Today i use a Mac Pro late 2013 (6cores, 32gb ram + 256gb ssd) which i took to its limits..
I have 2 options - 1. Macbook Pro - M1 Pro, 10C/14GPU, 32GB Ram + 4TB SSD for around 2400$. (New from a local store)
- Macbook Pro - M2 Pro, 10C/16GPU, 32GB Ram, 512GB SSD - Same price, 2400$. (2nd handed, like new)
Which should I buy? Will there be a huge difference from my old Mac Pro?
Thanks!

2023.03.20 22:26 ErlyxiShaga Quest pro controllers for Beat Saber ?
Hey, so I didn't planed to buy a new headset for now, even with the release of the Quest 3 or other potentials VR headset. I play a lot Beat Saber at a high lvl and compared to the tracking of a index this suck and it starts to bother me. For this reason I would like to upgrade my quest 2 controllers for quest pro controllers but I can't see any videos about the tracking of theses controllers compared to the quest 2 one's. If anyone play Beat Saber and have a Quest pro or a Quest 2 with pro controllers and can told me if there is a huge tracking quality difference (like about the prediction of the quest 2 controllers) I would be very happy !

2023.03.20 22:26 Tight-Page-5192 I Need A Hacker To Change My University Grades
[
[email protected]](mailto:
[email protected]) — — -Sometimes students fail their exams due to low-quality grades, which has a detrimental effect on their future life.
I need a hacker to change my university grades. Sometimes students fail their exams due to low-quality grades, which has a detrimental effect on their future life. If we get a job, it’s hard to get promoted because we have low-quality grades. One way is getting a consult from your school adviser or teacher about how you can change your low grade into a good one. And the other way is to change the grade through hacking.
The question that is on every student’s mind is how to change grades. I need a hacker to change my university grades. There are several ways to do this. You can discuss with the professor or deal with a third party like a writing agency, or you can use your academic knowledge and write your paper yourself. If you want to get good results without any trouble, then it is best. But if you want a good result without doing this then you need to hire a good hacker. The hacker will change your grade according to your needs. You do not have to do anything about this.
[
[email protected]](mailto:

I need a hacker to change my university grades
I need a hacker to change my university grade but now the question may come where can I find a hacker? Finding a professional hacker is a little difficult. Many hacker services or agencies can be found by searching online. But the amount of trusted hackers is very low. I have an explication for this problem.
Can I hire a hacker to change a grade?
This will be the question presented to you when you need to change the school grade. Being a university, college or high school student is a matter of stress and many students understand the pain of bad grades. A poor final grade can be devastating for undergraduate and career dynamics.
Having the mentality of not graduating and having to repeat difficult exams forces students to look for hackers to change school grades and worldwide statistics are on the high-grade change. It is very easy to find a hacker on the internet and accept his services. Anyone can do this at home through their mobile and net.
You need to believe in yourself that you can learn to change your grades without any help. Online grades can be changed to show your parents’ grades. Students often search like this, I need a hacker to change my university grade.
Hackers are breaking borders and connecting the world within short distances. School grade exploitation is a common thing. Achieving your goals requires skills and techniques to change your grades and unique software. What is common in school grade changes? The goal is to get good grades. Did you finalize the score? The truth is that despite the efforts of universities to secure their grading systems, grades are now more accessible to hackers than ever before.
[

How to choose a professional hacker?
There are real hackers to hack grades and increase your GPA in your college and university. We have noticed that a new generation of hackers now has websites in addition to the Deep Web.
We all know the stories that originated from the Dark Web of software, malicious apps, and other infamous items that go down. I would not recommend hiring a hacker a second time to change my school grades from the Dark Web. It’s a notorious initiative that I wouldn’t encourage anyone to do, but it really helps through the platform when I use the best method of hiring hackers to change my school grades.
Why hire a hacker to change grades
Grade change is considered to be the best thing for students around the world. To become a hacker you need prerequisite skills. Grade change is invalid and when changing your grade, just consider changing your grade and not everyone’s grade in the class. When you need a hacker to change your university grade, think of professional ethical hackers for hire.
Changing university grades for hacker recruitment would not be the final step. To increase GPA you need to consider your grades with simple strategies. How to hire a hacker to change a university grade is a step in the right direction if you consider identification. You can take any hacker to help you monitor the steps.
Finally, students find it difficult to get their grades. The study will not depend on you changing grades from hackers. When you are a student, you can change your score from F to A or you increase your grades. This effect when you are a student.

How to buy fake grades and fake college certificates online
I need a hacker to change my university grades. If this transcript is available online, how is it? There are online shop outlets that provide top services for buying fake birth certificates, fake college certificates, and fake diplomas. Many students buy this certificate if they cannot afford to hack school grades. Some students do not know that school computers can be hacked.
There are a lot of questions about “Can you make a fake copy” Yes if you can’t pay for grade-up hacking then we can make a diploma for you. We provide top solutions as a professional hacking service on replication including sealing and verification.
How to hack university database system to change grades
Hacking school systems means you need to know about cybersecurity, database protocols, and much more. Hackers can easily do this for you. Adjust your college grades, transcripts. If they are some hackers who can easily access the database and I would advise you to ask which method. First of all, don’t choose the cruel power, it can tear down the school’s server and slow down its website.
Is it possible to hack the school system and change your grade? Someone asked this question on a popular online Q&A website. The answer is — yes! And you are really lucky to have found this article. This content gives you a simple, safe, and effective solution on how to hire a hacker to change your university grades. This is the best and most informative article you will find online on this topic. Hire a hacker today [

How to hire a hacker to change the transcript
I need a hacker to change my university grades, what comes to your mind when you want to hack the school system? There are different methods applicable to school grades. What do you claim, the total overhauling of your grades, the increase in GPA? So, when changing your grades, you should also keep this advice in mind from the advice in this article: When hacking grades, hacking your own score will have a huge impact on other students which will cause problems for you.
It may sound ridiculous but it is true. Hacking is not like the movie in the real world and it is a bit difficult and working. You should consider a professional to look after your work. Some students make some mistakes when it comes to grade change and at first, they choose the key-logger, although it seems cool if you try to hack your teacher I would recommend not using this method. Hire a hacker if possible or use online hacking training for this purpose.

Hire a hacker to change university grade
The result I have chosen for professional change is that you can use highly skilled individuals or groups and these groups know their categories. If you hire a hacker to change your university grades, all you need to know is:
Hiring professional hackers to change university grades would not be the final step. Your grades should be considered along with simple strategies to increase your GPA. How to hire a hacker to change university grades is a step in the right direction you need to consider on your own.
Students find it difficult to get their grades. The study will not depend on you changing grades from hackers. When you are a student, you can change your score from F&A to this effect when you are a student.
In short There are opinions and disagreements about hacking your school website. Changing your grades requires your experience and skills to securely hack your school portal. Alternatively, you can hire a professional hacker to hack school, college, and university grades.
Conclusion At this age where everyone races to get good grades and then get good jobs. Your results play an essential role to get a good job. No worries if you have a low-quality grade. You can easily change the grade by hiring a hacker.

2023.03.20 22:26 regularcelery20 Dark Was the Night
| Dark Was the Night I couldn't wait until I got it in the mail to share! I love this album, and since I'm getting a record player for my birthday on April 12 and my vinyl collection was 14 measly records, I knew I wanted this record. I wanted it more than anything, but the cheapest I could find it new was $110... up to $217. (I don't know people's definition of Very Good or Near Mint yet on Discogs, and they were still very expensive for this record, so I decided this wasn't the one I wanted to find out on. I'll find that out on a cheaper record!) However, somebody recommended a German record website to me for another artist ( https://www.jpc.de), and thanks to Google Translate, I was able to find this and buy it new for $40, including shipping! It's a wonderful compilation record produced by Aaron and Bryce Dessner that came out in 2009. It's basically a who's who of 2000s indie artists. The proceeds benefit Red Hot Organization which raises funds and awareness of HIV and AIDS. I recommend it to anybody -- you can stream it on Apple Music and I assume Spotify. It's also available on CD (WAY cheaper), but I don't have a CD player. I thought this would be one of my two holy grail records that I would never be able to get. Turns out, I was able to get both of them less than a month after I found out my birthday gift and before I even got my turntable for my birthday! So now, I have 15 measly records, and that number will be 20 in April (due to my birthday, RSD, and The National's new record). I hope I have a MUCH bigger collection one day, but for now, I have A LOT to catch up on to listen to on vinyl when I get my Pioneer A35. submitted by regularcelery20 to vinyl [link] [comments] |
2023.03.20 22:26 Positive-Ad-7807 Travel Disruption Insurance (CC)?
Will remove if this isn’t within rules.
Booked two one-way tickets ($150 total - me and my wife). Transaction errantly went through 3 times. Called airline and they couldn’t resolved. Credit card easily processed a chargeback for 2 of the 3 transactions.
Come time to fly, I got a notification in the app that we had to check in at the counter. Got to the counter and they said my tickets were voided because of the chargeback. Wouldn’t even honour original price. Had to buy two new tickets for ($505 total; in addition to the $150 I had originally paid). Wouldn’t even accept my original credit card (Amex) so had to buy with Visa.
Amex has credited the original $150 (chargeback). Would any of this fall under CC trip interruption/cancellation insurance given they voided the ticket / had to buy for a premium?
Thanks!

2023.03.20 22:25 reddituseranyonymous Questions about Medicare IRMAA
Im not sure if this is the best place to ask so please redirect me if needed. Im between work and home so I dont have exact numbers....but the TLDR is Im paying an IRMAA and I can no longer afford it.
Im a relatively low wage Fed and also disabled. Gave up SSDI when I became a Fed but I was able to stay on Medicare and pay out of pocket. I have insurance through work so Medicare is secondary. It was worth the peace of mind when the combined total was around $275 but now with IRMAA Im paying $700 for the two.
Can I have my IRMAA adjusted or drop my Medicare coverage. Im getting ready to transfer to a new city so Ill be able to change my work insurance. Details below.
The stock market went bonkers during Covid. My regular old investment account went up 100k in a year. My AGI for 2020 was just over 100k. In 2021 my account stayed relatively flat. Then October happened and my account basically 5x in a month due to options. I had more money than I knew what to do with. I called my dad who is a retired investor broker, I honestly dont remember what he said beyond congratulations. I spoke with an advisor from a big firm and looking back he should have told me take profits and set up a meeting. He didnt. All he said is dont buy the investment ypu want to. News broke shortly after of the CEO selling. I didn't think it would effect things much, most CEO sales are planned and have short term impacts. This one didnt.
I finished 2021 with an AGI of around 250k.
At some point I started paying $597 a month for medicare.
Did my taxes for 2022. My AGI was a shade over 46,000 and my investment account has is down like 90%. I can't afford $600/month for Medicare on top of other bills

2023.03.20 22:24 Previous_Metal_7943 Stove top coils
Ok so I wanted to clean the old stove top coils in my apartment because they were black with grime and starting to smoke anytime I used the stove. I read online that you can clean them by rubbing balled up aluminum on them, so I did. They are now grey and clean.
I'm now reading online saying that this is dangerous because it removes the ceramic coating and can cause a fire. Does anyone know if this is true?
Please tell me it isn't, I don't want to have to buy new ones...

2023.03.20 22:24 3R0-S3NN1N im tired
hi. Im Amadeus. A trans, gay man. Im Syrian and Lebanese, but i live in Sweden. Im 13 years old. I have a cat named pepsi, he is a black Norwegian forest cat. I have two older siblings, a dad, a mom and multiple cousins/other relatives.
I have a close friend whos name i will call A.A. we have known each other for about 5 years now, we became friends in a weird way, but i love him. He has always been there for me, supporting me through times when i questioned my identity, and the few times I've questioned my sexuality.
I have diagnosed ADHD, Autism, Anxiety and Depression.
I have been too the hospital before for a suicide attempt around 2 years ago.
My special intrest is space. Its been my special intrest since i can remember existing.
Recently i started some new ADHD pills and Antidepressants, which have made me incredibly tired. Way too tired. I dont know how to handle it since i already was too tired to go to school, go outside, take care of myself and lots of other things.
Yesterday i decided i couldn't take it anymore, and i have begun to neglect important parts of my routine. Such as eating (which is partially due to the pills ruining my appetite completely), talking to my family, friends and really anyone, but the only thing my mom seema to care about: taking my pills. which include ADHD pills, Antidepressants, Period stoppers, Melatonin and some normal vitamins.
My mom also has decided to put me on a diet because im "too big" and i need to eat healthier. Normally the food the makes is the opposite of healthy. The pills have also made it very hard for me to eat alot of things i consider heavy. Such as Bread, Meat, Rice, Fish, Chicken, Anything that includes cream, Cheese, Chocolate, Potatoes, and Pasta/ most things including flour. I have resulted to mostly eating things such as chips and vegetables. Only.
My mom and my sister went to the store yesterday. When they came home i asked why they didnt tell me they went, because i wanted chips. My mom then responded "yeah i thought about you, but i wasnt gonna buy you chips. You're too big." Infront of my entire family. I immediately went up to my room and locked myself in my closet. I think this situation might have been what caused me to crack.
I simply cannot take it anymore. Ive already texted what i need to say to A.A. i on the other hand refuse to leave any texts or anything to my entire family except for my dad, who i will not be messaging until im fully sure that i wont fail with my attempt this time.
Im not here for any help, i just needed somewhere to go.
It is currently 10:22 PM where i am in sweden. I dont think im making it too far into tomorrow morning.
bye.

2023.03.20 22:23 PuzzleheadedBet1419 Top 5 Best Wi-Fi Router in 2023
Figuring out what the best router for your needs can be complicated. We've tested the top Wi-Fi router brands so you can find the right one for your needs.
Take a look at this list:
https://quizience.com/best-wi-fi-routers-for-2022/
TP-Link Archer AX21
Best budget router
Wi-Fi Standard
Wi-Fi 6
Speed Rating
AX1800
Range
Up to 2,500 sq. ft.
Wireless Networking Security
WPA3
Bands
Dual-Band (2.4 and 5GHz)
Available for $100 (or less if you catch a sale), the TP-Link Archer AX21 is an entry-level, dual-band Wi-Fi 6 router that supports top speeds of up to 1,201Mbps (1.2Gbps) on its 5GHz band. It's nothing fancy, but it offered near flawless performance for small- to medium-size homes in our tests, and it's a cinch to setup and use thanks to TP-Link's Tether app.
Best of all, when tested against other, similar routers from names like Asus and Netgear, the AX21 held its own with faster download speeds, better range, and low latency, too. Add in a functional bandsteering mode that automatically steers you between the 2.4 and 5GHz bands within a single network, plus guest network controls and even a quality of service engine for prioritizing traffic to the most important devices on your network, and you're looking at a decent home networking upgrade that's as simple and affordable as it gets. It isn't powerful enough to max out speeds on a gigabit network, but it can still hit consistent close-range speeds near 700Mbps or so, which is more than enough for most households. Read our TP-Link Archer AX21 review.
Linksys Hydra Pro 6 (MR5500)
Best midrange router
Wi-Fi Standard
Wi-Fi 6
Speed Rating
AX5400
Range
Up to 2,700 sq. ft.
Wireless Networking Security
WPA2, WPA3
Bands
Dual-Band (2.4 and 5GHz)
If you've already got a budget router running your network and you're ready to upgrade to something more powerful, the Linksys Hydra Pro 6 belongs high on your list. With a dual-band, AX5400 build, full support for Wi-Fi 6, and 160MHz channel support for moving data more efficiently, it was an excellent performer in my speed tests, even managing to outperform flashier picks like the also great Asus RT-AX86U.
The Hydra Pro 6 is a touch pricey as dual-band routers go, but the steady, consistent performance makes it a standout. Try and catch it on sale if you can, but if you just want a reliable, no-frills router that can keep up with gigabit speeds, look no further. Read our Linksys Hydra Pro 6 review.
TP-Link Deco W7200
Best mesh router overall
Wi-Fi Standard
Wi-Fi 6
Speed Rating
AX3600
Range
Up to 5,500 sq. ft. (two devices)
Wireless Networking Security
WPA2, WPA3
Bands
Tri-Band (2.4 and two 5GHz)
For the best performance from your mesh router, you'll want to prioritize getting one with support for Wi-Fi 6, plus a tri-band design that includes three separate bands of traffic: the usual 2.4 and 5GHz bands, plus an additional 5GHz band that the system can use as a dedicated wireless backhaul for transmissions between the router and its satellites. Most mesh routers like that cost at least $300 or even $400, but the TP-Link Deco W7200 gets you there for less than $250.
That's the best deal I've seen for a tri-band mesh router with support for Wi-Fi 6 -- and sure enough, it's an excellent performer, as well. In fact, the only system that managed to outperform it outright in my at-home speed tests is the AX6000 version of Netgear Orbi, which costs more than three times as much (keep reading for more on that one). On top of that, TP-Link's setup process is about as easy as it gets, with satellite extenders that automatically join the mesh as soon as you plug them in. Read our TP-Link Deco W7200 review.
Asus RT-AX86U
Best gaming router
Wi-Fi standard
Wi-Fi 6
Speed Rating
AX5700
Range
Up to 2,500 sq. ft.
Wireless Networking Security
WPA3
Bands
Dual-Band (2.4 and 5GHz)
Gaming routers promise high performance and low latency for die-hard gamers, and it isn't uncommon to find them selling for $300 or even $400. At about $270 or less, the Asus RT-AX86U dual-band router isn't inexpensive either, but it's a strong value relative to routers like those -- and the performance it delivers as a gaming router is flat-out great.
Most noteworthy is the router's latency management. In fact, it leads all of the routers I've ever tested, gaming or otherwise, with the lowest average latency across all of my tests, which online gamers will definitely appreciate. Something else you'll appreciate: An excellent mix of app-based controls and features, including a mobile boost mode, that lets you prioritize gaming traffic to your phone at the touch of a button.
Gaming features aside, the RT-AX86U offers full support for Wi-Fi 6, with strong, stable speeds and good range. If you need additional range, you can add other Asus "AIMesh" devices to your home network to make it the centerpiece of a mesh.
That checks off all of the boxes that most people want from a good gaming router, and it gets you there at a price that isn't too painful for us to recommend. Even if you aren't a gamer, this is still one of the best Wi-Fi 6 routers you can buy right now. Read our list of the best gaming routers.

2023.03.20 22:23 WorldOfWulf Unable to load ships?
I was trying to buy my own sloop to captain, but I got to the “checkout” page and it gave me an error along the lines of unable to complete at this time, please try again later. Now whenever I sign out and sign back in, or reload SoT, verify game files, etc, when I go to select a ship, it says unable to load ships please try again later and I cant even get to the point where I would be able to buy a ship. That is the main issue, anyone know how to fix it? I saw that this was a really common issue a long time ago, but cant find any threads with a similar issue now.
As a side note, I also am unable to access the whats new tab when I load up the game. It just shows the tab ‘locked up’ and I feel that these issues may be related?

2023.03.20 22:22 LIS1050010 Preparing for 5 Extreme Weather Events: 15 Need-to-Know Tips
Extreme weather is no joking matter. While you may be used to some natural disasters in your hometown, others could still pose a threat you haven’t yet encountered. Consider these life-saving tips when you’re preparing to survive the next natural disaster that rolls through.
Tornadoes
Tornadoes strike when conditions are windy enough, and they can be devastating. The only way for a tornado to stop is for it to burn itself out. Since there isn’t a way to fight a tornado, you should be on your guard and prepare for the upcoming terrible weather in your own way.
1. Get to Lower Ground
You should know that the safest place to be during a tornado is on the ground floor of the building you reside in. However, things can get complicated if you don’t have a basement or live in an apartment complex.
If you can hide out in a parking deck or a hallway, you’ll be better off than staying where you were. If you absolutely can’t get somewhere lower, remember to cover your head and protect your body with something sturdy to prevent damage to your person.
2. Make a Plan for Everyone
Create an emergency plan for your household. The bigger your home is, the more desperately you need a plan to gather everyone in one place. Even if you haven’t experienced a disaster within the last year, you should test your plan annually to ensure everyone knows what to do in the event of a tornado.
Folks with special needs, such as those who have mobility aids or even pets, may need plans tailored to them. They may not be able to evacuate or get to the same level as everyone else, and you should create individualized plans for them. Having a plan of their own will help them feel less anxious during an emergency.
3. Keep a Safe Box of Essentials
You’ll want a sturdy box full of essentials to keep safe with you in the event of a tornado. This box should include a first-aid kit, non-perishable foods, and more. Make sure you gather all of your important contacts, such as neighbors or faraway relatives you’ll want to check in with, in one place where you can easily access them after the storm passes.
Hurricanes
Hurricanes are dangerous natural disasters that typically strike the coast but can also strike many miles inland. They require extensive preparation, as there’s much to worry about both during and after a storm. In addition, they can constantly evolve, so hurricanes typically don’t stay at the same danger level as the day before.
1. Take Shelter Immediately
Hurricanes bring strong winds and rain with them. Plenty of people board up their windows in case the glass shatters. You can expect the hurricane to hit your house hard, so take any precautions you need to. Prepare your home for the storm ahead of time, and you’ll be fit to shelter in place or evacuate without worrying about your most important assets.
2. Always Evacuate When Needed
Depending on the category of the storm, you may have to leave your home. Keeping your television tuned to the news can help you understand the best time to go or whether you should leave at all. If you plan to leave, remember to take your pets with you. They’re an irreplaceable part of your family. Just keep an eye on the weather, and you can decide what steps to take from there.
3. Stay Out of the Water
Several diseases or pollutants could contaminate the water left over by hurricanes. You might accidentally swallow something you didn’t mean to. The best way to ensure you stay away from the water is to have an emergency flotation device just in case and prepare for the absolute worst before the storm arrives.
Floods
Floods may seem tame compared to other extreme weather conditions, but it’s one of the most difficult to adjust to. When water surrounds you, you’re stuck in place and can do nothing but wait for it to recede. You might get cabin fever, but as long as you prepare to stay inside for a few days, you should feel ready to brave the storm.
1. Watch the Water Levels
Just as you would watch the news for any extreme weather in your area, you should watch out your windows and keep an eye on the rising water level. If you’ve been through floods before, you should know how much you can handle.
It’s unlikely you’ll need anything after preparing for the flood, but if the water levels are still low and you think you can safely drive in it, you may still be able to make a final trip to the store.
2. Get to High Ground
If you can find shelter on higher ground, move as soon as you can. Take your valuables and evacuate your home, particularly if it sits low before the water gets too high. Only time will tell how long it’ll take for floodwaters to recede, so plan to be away from your home for a while.
If you don’t feel the need to evacuate your home right now, keep your radio tuned to public news stations to see if evacuation orders end up being issued – and have a place in mind to go if that order comes.
3. Only Drink Boiled Water
Because a flood can cause water pipe breakage, you should rely on bottled water to hydrate your household during and shortly after a flood. If you must use water from the tap, boil it first to eliminate any contaminants that may have entered. Even if you don’t plan to drink the water, make sure it’s boiled before it touches you or any other living thing.
Blizzards
Blizzards are known for the intense snowstorms that sometimes roll through in the winter, taking electricity with them as they fizzle out. Even if the blizzard you’re faced with isn’t powerful, you should prepare for the power to go out.
Also, properly winterize your car before the blizzard comes by
outfitting it with new tires and getting it checked, just in case you need to brave the aftermath of the storm.
1. Gather Candles
In addition to other emergency supplies, you’ll need candles. Proper candles and matches can keep you warm if you don’t have another option. Candles might not be as powerful as a fireplace, but they can give off enough warmth in a small area to supplement the blankets and clothing layers you’re using. Remember to watch the flames carefully, and don’t let children and pets near them.
2. Designate One Room to Live In
After a blizzard, you may find that your power is out for days. Before the storm arrives, designate one room in your living space to be the spot where everyone lives for the next few days. Your whole household spending time in one room will draw warmth to that area. This way, you only need to focus on stocking one room full of blankets and candles, and you can seal off the rest of your home.
3. Equip Yourself Properly
You likely won’t leave your house during a blizzard, but after the storm settles and it leaves snow behind, that’s another story.
Shoveling sidewalks and driveways so you can go somewhere might be an excellent idea, but make sure you do it carefully and wear the proper winter clothing. Also, whenever you choose to leave your house,
carry salt or sand to throw on the ground, so you don’t slip on ice.
Dust Storms
The southwestern United States already knows of the dangers of dust storms, but they can happen anywhere in the country, so it’s worth it to be prepared. The remnants of thunderstorms or small tornadoes can create dust storms, especially in dry areas. When soil and dirt get scooped into the air and thrown around, your best bet is to stay indoors and preserve your health.
1. Stay Indoors
The most crucial piece of advice you’ll receive when facing a dust storm is to stay inside. Inhaling dust can be detrimental to your health, especially in large quantities. Before the dust storm arrives, prepare everything you need to be inside.
If you have a dog who needs frequent walks, try to limit your time outdoors. It could be worth it to train your dog to use a puppy pad – similar to how a cat uses a litter box – so you can clean up after them without having to expose yourself or your pup to the dangers of a dust storm.
2. Have Facial Coverings Ready
In dust storms, you’ll find dust everywhere. You may have to venture outside the protection of your home, so it pays off to have facial coverings ready. Goggles can protect your eyes from the grit flying around, while a face mask can prevent the dust from getting into your nostrils or mouth. This way, you can avoid dust entering your lungs and remain safe. Try to limit trips outside until the dust storm has passed.
3. Be Careful When Driving
Dust storms can create sudden issues with visibility. Before the storm approaches, go out to the store and gather everything you need, so you don’t get caught in all the dust.
Don’t get in your car if it’s exceptionally windy in your area. A storm can change in an instant, so if you’re caught in a dense part of the storm while driving, pull off to the side of the road and wait it out. It’s better to be safe than sorry.
Stay Safe and Prep Your Home
Reaching out to others is one of the best things you can do in a dire situation. You never know when someone else needs help, and they could return the favor and help you when you need it most.
Though every natural disaster or extreme weather event has its preferred season and location, you still want to prepare and know what to do in any situation. Taking responsibility and having a plan for every type of weather is the best way to show your skills as a survivalist.

| "200 years, that is how long its been since the death ofIzuku Midoriya, the then present #1 hero. All was going well, all was calm. Perhaps too calm one could say, as over the following centuries The Heroes had grown complicit. Accepting the idea that a new One For All Bearer would come around to save them, and they had been, for 175 years the world was protected. But something was off, faulty even as With All For One now deceased the powers within the quirk had no reason to actively improve itself, nor its Weilders. Resulting in the quirk slowly degrading, weakening over time, so 25 years ago. The Quirk One For All, now barely being on par with its 6th user's Strength, Simply could not keep up as an attack was launched. This attack, was orchestrated by 5 Villains, Each using an Alias, Diamond, Spade, Club, Heart and Joker. Together these five as well as their followers Killed the then 20th user of the One For All Quirk, Without their number one the Heroes scattered like ants trying to regroup. Due to this 'Suits Incident', Japan's hero society crumbled like a house of cards. leaving Japan Divided into 5 segments, Dour gang controlled, and One Hero controlled. It has been 25 years since these events transpired, Rumor has it that Quirks have started acting in... odd ways, as during the last 25 years, Older quirks have started popping up as if a round 2. Legendary Quirks known through the ages as the Strongest of their Era have come almost as if a call for help from Humanity itself. These users of these quirks are valued highly, with the heroes attempting to train as many of them as possible in the hopes that together. they can reclaim japan? or will the newfound stigma of these powers doom the heroes to extinction? How does that sound? its definitely not your box standard my hero academia roleplay, we don't even have a school. but what we DO have, is opportunity for anyone who joins to take place as a major factor in our story. No one person is a protagonist, no matter what their quirk may be. Highlights of our server include but are not limited to - Semi-Lit Requirement: You will not be finding any one liners here, we know that it can be a bit difficult to get into the scene when you get four or five words in response, so we are aiming to fix that
- Darker Take: Our story is a tad bit darker than the typical story, Which has lead us to make the server 16+. with a basic age verification to ensure that remains.
- LGBTQ+ Friendly Environment, Our story will be darker than the typical my hero scene, but as a whole we welcome everybody so long as you aren't being a bad person.
- Reliable Events: We will have events every 2 weeks (give or take a few days), to ensure everybody has something to keep them busy should they wish to participate, as well as proper down time in the event they have no interest being involved in more Casual roleplay
- Custom Quirks + Canon Quirks: We allow people to have Canon quirks on top of the custom quirks they can make themselves. Of course only one of each quirk can exist so its a first come first serve basis, but its nice to have the option isn't it?
- Rolling system for combat: Now this one may be controversial, but we decided that solid stats just didn't really fit our vibe so to speak. Instead we have a basic d20 system, with ranks being obtainable. the higher your rank, the better the result of your dice is garneted to be, which not making it completely impossible to beat anyone, unless you are actively trying to day one somebody who is of the highest rank in the server
- All of this and more is to be found in our server, so feel free to stop by

2023.03.20 22:20 REAL_datacenterdude HP DL360p Gen8 iLO causing fans to spin MAX
This one is a shot in the dark, but hoping someone has run into this one before.
Server: HP DL360p Gen8 (1U) iLO4 > 2.82 Feb'23 firmware ROM > P71 2019 (latest I could find)
Server itself runs great. After a while, the fans started spinning up to MAX. This first happened at 1AM, and the WAF was at an all-time low. Mind you, the box is running pfSense and was on Day 1 of being our core network appliance, so 'undoing' all of that was no small feat.
The next day, I cut everything back over to let it run, trying to reproduce it. Finally, after hours, the fans kicked on MAX again for about a minute, then idled back down. And then back and forth again until they were finally staying on perpetually.
I tried to access iLO while it was happening to see what was being reported. Webpage wouldn't come up. So I went over to unplug/re-plug the iLO ethernet cable. As soon as I unplugged it, the fans spun down. No way, must be a coincidence, right? Nope. Plugged it back in, they immediately fired back up to MAX. Unplugged it again, fans idled down.
I'm not sure if it's the new Feb'23 iLO4 firmware, but something is causing my fans to run like crazy when iLO is plugged in.

2023.03.20 22:20 Ambitious_Dance4828 I realized I am still frustrated with my partner for ignoring my birthday
My birthday was one month after LO was born. We were having some kind of disagreement on that day (I honestly don’t remember about what), I just remember feeling down, since we were mad at each other, and spending the day taking care of our baby pretty much alone. I didn’t get a cake, a card, nothing. I don’t remember getting a “Happy birthday” from him but he might have said it in passing.
For a bit more context. We are currently living in his hometown, my family lives in another country so I have nobody here besides him and his family (which is basically just his mom and a cousin). When LO was born, my mom came to stay with us for a full month. She helped a lot, but our house is a bit small so it became crowded very soon with a new baby, my mom and his mom constantly visiting. Things got worse when my dad showed up as a surprise leaving us even less space in the house. My parents speak a language that my SO doesn’t understand, so he gets very overwhelmed by the costant noise and conversations around him that he can’t be a part of. My parents were sleeping on our couch so we had zero privacy or a space we could go to unwind when we felt stressed. That first month was actually very hard, in retrospect I would have advised my parents to have come at a later time. Because the stress of having a new born, being first time parents and hosting your in-laws for a full month became too much for us and specially for my partner.
To make matters worse, we are in a very difficult financial situation. I am only working part time and he is finishing graduate school. So our budget is extremely tight, we have been living in a constant state of stress over every penny for the past year. Because of that we agreed on not giving each other presents for christmas and birthdays until we are both able to get better jobs.
My parents came here in the spirit of vacation. They wanted to constantly explore the city and the surroundings since it was the first time they were visiting. So I had to become a tour guide on top of being a new parent, healing from the birth and mediating the relationship between my partner and my parents, besides functioning as an interpreter for the house and all the languages everybody was speaking. The whole month was hell, to be honest. My husband thought it wasn’t fair I had to entertain my parents all the time, my parents thought my husband was a grumpy ass because he was always moody and short-tempered about not being able to do anything without being judged by 3 grandparents all the time.
The day my parents finally left we were mentaly exhasted from everything and from all the little arguments and little uncomfortable situations from the past month. 2 days later was my birthday. Husband was still short-tempered about something that I don’t remember anymore, we were fighting, so we did nothing for my birthday. We couldn't go out and celebrate or buy anything because of our budget. I couldn’t do anything for myself because I was breastfeeding on demand on very little sleep. His mom, who is normally very sweet to me, came by to wish me a happy birthday but she quickly left because she had had an argument with my husband the day before and she didn’t want to be there around him. His cousin called to wish me a happy birthday but she was sick so she decided not to come by because of the baby. I have no friends here yet. It was honestly the worst birthday I had ever had. I kept expecting that he would suddenly bring me a cake or something but nothing happened. He didn’t even offer to make dinner. Before the baby was born we talked about my birthday and how we could make sushi so I could celebrate finally being able to eat raw fish again, but we ended up not buying anything special on the actual day. I remember going to bed crying. The next day we solved whatever it was that we were arguing about and he said that he was sorry for the shit birthday I had, but it was too late to have any celebrations, it wasn’t my birthday anymore.
He had his own birthday about a month BEFORE the baby was born and we also didn’t do anything. I normally bake a cake for him but this time I was on my third trimester and really not feeling too well, so his mom brought a cheesecake and we had afternoon tea with her. He never cared much about his own birthday, every year I am the one that makes a big deal out of it and does something for him. I normally design new cool cards or something like that. This time, however, I also didin’t do anything. I was too pregnant and too tired.
The day after my birthday, I made peace with the fact that I had a shit birthday but we have a new baby so things like this happen, our priority is the baby now. Also, I felt like it was a bit unfair of me to expect him to do something for my birthday when I didn’t do anything for his.
Fastforward to today, 3 months after my birthday. I thought I was over what happened but apparently I am not. We ate a piece of cheesecake, which reminded us of the cheesecake his mom made him for his birthday. He made a comment about how his birthday was very uneventful to which I said “well, at least you had one, I had nobody, no celebration not even cake”, he replied “oh, that sucks!”. He asked me why he had a cake and I didn’t have one. I said it was because he had his mom here to make him one, he replied that my mom was here a few days before my birthday, she could have left one in the fridge. I decided to leave the conversation there and have a bit of alone time now writing this post.
Our baby is going through the 4 month sleep regression fase right now, we are absolutely exhausted. I didn’t want to escalate our already bad moods with a memory of the past to bring it up to him one more time that I felt like shit on my birthday. So I decided to come here and vent to you guys. I am crying while writing this post. I don’t know if it is the hormones or being sleep deprived, but I feel very hurt thinking of my birthday. I decided that next year I will make my own cake, and I will never allow something like this to happen again. I will never leave it to other people to surprise me, I will always make sure I have cake on my birthday from now on.
I am sorry about the long post, I had to vent to somebody.
