2023.05.30 12:58 MBirdson A year later, I feel like I can finally speak on the Ammo Nerf and its relation to AoE and the modern game's Incarnon buffs.
Hello community and DE. I'm a random player, and I have a lot of words because I feel like saying them, and I feel like the suggestions should be implemented, though, in the grand scheme of things, what do I know? I'm a random player on the internet.
Honestly, after playing through a year's worth of missions with a widened arsenal and attempting multiple times to go back to previously high-tier AoE weapons, they just... don't feel good, especially in modes like Circuit Steel Path and previously doable grinds like Arbitrations. The ammo nerf really hit AoE weapons that specifically needed a good number of shots to build up momentum, and decrees like Close Contagion made most bullet hose weapons better AoE weapons than the original AoE weapons. In the today's version of Warframe, you need energized munitions AND dispensary just to sustainably use AoE weapons. I guess that's the whole point of the nerf, but being stuck with a paperweight for the majority of a mission doesn't feel great either. It helps even less when you're stuck with a nerfed AoE weapon for the Circuit where ammo doesn't drop, and you likely don't have access to a build that would make it usable.
I guess what I'm trying to say is that those now-distant ammo nerfs, both to Merciless and the AoE weapons, just make the game feel kind of... off. Every other weapon down to my Karak feels far more usable and sustainable by comparison for the wrong reason, and the lack of ammo even then makes them feel neutered. The Incarnon adapters for previously underpowered weapons definitely helps in some "power" aspects that I've been missing, but I don't think they work to fix the problem at hand, and they certainly don't remove heavily invested Kuva and Tenet paperweights from my inventory.
Warframe is a game that incentivizes the use of AoE weapons, whether the game likes to admit that or not. I feel like the argument "uhhh but with the nerfs you now have to play the game, lazy" is in bad faith as well, as the feel of a game is just as important as the mental investment. Furthermore, such a thing is moot simply because there are ways to play efficiently that are even less mentally investing and (in my opinion far less fun). Everyone farming fissures has seen a Thermal Sunder Titania. Everyone in ESO has seen a Saryn Prime farming focus by smacking 1 and 3. Volts in Cetus pubs cuss you out if you don't play exactly how they play when Eidolon hunting. Arbitration farming is the same 4 people in a squad that kicks you if you didn't subsume Energized Munitions on a Volt on the third day of the fourth month of a leap year with Mercury in Gatorade. That's not to say that they are invalid ways to play (and nerfing them into invalidity doesn't help either, especially given the demand for efficiency in grindy games like Warframe).
I guess what I'm trying to say is that the AoE and ammo nerfs really screwed with the feel of the game for me, especially given my playstyle (low-radius AoE with lots of spam and a high damage concentration). The relaxed grind of lower-level content has given way to highly specific builds for specific styles of content, one that has completely fallen apart given the RNG of things like the Circuit (which itself, is fun, but it disincentivizes the specific styles of build that were encouraged with the AoE and ammo nerf).
Is there a solution to the problem? No idea. I would suggest a reversion to the ammo nerf and the retainment of the AoE nerf, as I felt that one or the other would suffice, and a lot more people had problems specifically with the AoE's weird radius mechanics rather than the amount of ammo that they initially had. I would love to see slightly smaller AoE's on previously OP weapons in exchange for an amount of ammo and ammo pickup that doesn't set my "but what if I need it later" instinct off (looking at you, Afentis, Kuva Zarr, Kuva Ogris, and Aegrit). Seeing as the AoE mechanics were fixed in Veilbreaker, I feel that, power-wise, these weapons are in a pretty good spot now, though ammo is still piddly and sad. In that vein, I'd love to see a reversion to Merciless, because the Ammo increase synergized well with the need to kill more things much more quickly for the damage bonus. It is also now notably underpowered in comparison to Deadhead just because of its nerf. As for non-AoE weapons, I'm in the camp of either giving them a mod like Thunderbolt to give them AoE, or buffing up Punch-through to give them a high-crowd-control niche of their own. I think it's also good to continue with the Incarnon Adapter thing, because an endgame way to buff up underpowered weapons to cinematically awesome degree is just cool and really helps make them usable, though that whole "two a week" limit makes the grind somewhat grading. I would rather have an equal amount of difficult, but logistically calm grind for whatever adapter I want instead of the panicked, rigidly scheduled grind of the weekly Circuit, though that's a discussion for a different time that is, in all honesty, a personal preference given my own schedule and technical capabilities. In terms of ammo nerfing, if we really want to keep the weapons endgame-capable while also not giving these weapons too early, I feel that a good compromise would be a way to get these sort of ammo-nerf reverted builds in the endgame or perhaps introducing endgame liches like how you introduced Archons.
TL,DR: Game feel good, questions of grinding, efficiency, and other things players complain about are in the nature of games like Warframe, AoE nerf good, ammo nerf bad and made the game feel worse to solve a problem that was somewhat fixed in a different nerf in the same update, incarnon adapters good, weekly rotation not so much but I can hang with it. A way to buff up ammo in some way or another would do good to help game feel after the nerfs and subsequent powercreep of incarnon stuff.

2023.05.30 12:49 Crispo14 Returning to Tamriel
| TLDR: noob needs advice Hey everyone, I've downloaded ESO on gamepass after not touching the game since near launch. I'm an avid ES fan, but I haven't played too many MMO's. I'm looking for advice as I would like to get into PVP in time, I wanna play a redguard and ideally play a tank role, what class, abilities, investment are best. I dont particularly enjoy sword+shield and I remember I found archery very crap when I first played, so advice here would also he appreciated. I think I'll go DC as I like that area Geographically in Tamriel and it makes sense for a redguard. Finally, is ESO+ a wise investment? Or the DLC? I ideally want to lose hours of my life in this game as there's a lot of content and now I have limited hours to play, I like that I can make whatever I want of each session. (Quests, pvp, crafting, story, dungeons, etc) Many thanks for your help in advanced and sorry for the long ramble❤️ submitted by Crispo14 to elderscrollsonline [link] [comments] |

2023.05.30 12:21 dondonbow The PvP in this game is fucking awesome
Don't get me wrong, I'm not being ironic.
You have to admit POGO's PVP design philosophy is one of a kind. Neither a TBS nor RTS game but at the same time it carries a bit of both. The best thing I enjoy about it is that both players have to put their full intention and focus hard in order to win. This isn't a second window/tab game where you can play while watching Netflix.
Roping is almost ubiquitous in modern mobile pvp games, but in POGO, even the most saltiest player don't rope at the beginning of every match becuz that just guarantees their loss, while as in other games such as HS or MTG there's a chance for impatient opponents to just concede and grant salty players the win.
Now back to the game itself. Yes, it looks like brainless button mashing made for toddlers at first glance. But once you get serious it's actually complex enough that many dedicated players spent a great time honing their skills and studying the meta. If it's sheer luck then how come top players can always hit legend? You can take the easy route to just always whine that it's just RPS, but then you'll never git gud.
Also in tournaments it's show 6 pick 3, so the lineup is definitely not RNG. You have to predict opponent's pick which involves a lot of thinking before the game even starts.
Yes, most mons are just spice picks, but when was the last time you ever played a game with so many characters to pick in the roster? And it's not uncommon for seasoned players to use spice teams to reck noobs using top meta teams. Copy pasting whatever suggested top meta builds sure can make your game easier, but at the end of the day, if you just treat GBL as skilless button mashing game then I'm sure you won't reach too far.

2023.05.30 12:01 AutoModerator Weekly Team Help Megathread!
Hello and welcome to the Team Help megathread! This is a weekly thread for advice on team building for Arena Cups and GO Battle League! You can ask for feedback on your battle teams, for help on which Pokémon and moves to use, to get opinions on which Pokémon to invest candy/dust in, or any other team questions you may have! This thread will allow newer battlers to get help more easily, and more experienced competitors to spread their knowledge and help the community improve their skills.
A few guidelines:
- Keep it civil and constructive: Above all, the goal of this thread is to help players improve and get advice on their teams. Rude, cynical, off-topic, or accusatory posts against individuals or groups will be removed. Let’s be excellent to each other!
- Help where you can: We need experienced battlers to lend their expertise and give advice! If you see someone you can help, please leave a comment or feedback for them.
- Limit your requests: In order to give everyone a fair shake at receiving advice, try to limit your request posts to once or twice per week. The PvP community is growing every day, and we want to make sure everyone gets the help they need!
- Give details in your post: When asking for team advice, be sure to include some background. Tell us what League or Meta you need help with, what your rank/tierating is, what resources or Pokémon you may have to invest, and what your goals are. The more details you give, the more likely your questions will be answered.

2023.05.30 11:54 patrickpequito Best buddy buff
Recently Eurogamer published an article about the Remote Raid nerf and the new Shadow Raid mechanics. In that
article, they were quoting Steranka and he said this:
"There's an inherent coolness factor some people might associate with the Shadow effects and whatnot, but in the games' lore, Shadow Pokemon are suffering and in pain and so we want players to Purify them and save them from that," Steranka states. "We've tried to add some incentives around the Purification process - you get access to an incredibly powerful move in Return as opposed to Frustration, which is a very weak move, but yes, especially in PVP, you make a trade-off in terms of damage output versus damage received because you get a damage modifier there for being Shadow boosted. We want to put those decisions in players' hands and if you're the type of player that is okay with your Pokémon suffering a little bit to get a little bit more power, then that's your choice to make. I do know there are a lot of players who, because of that, refuse to keep any Shadow Pokémon and will purify everything that they catch."
This kept me thinking that Shadow Pokémon will always be the go-to choice and never purify a good Pokémon, even with "those" incentives. This being said, a shadow mon will always be stronger, no matter how much you train your Pokémon, the suffering one will beat him. The difference is so big that a 0/0/0 shadow is stronger than a 15/15/15 normal.
However, the game, the lore and tv show is all about building bonds and friendship with your Pokémons, and we already have a Best Buddy system that buff the CP of the Pokémon by adding one level. But what if a Best Buddy could be as strong as a Shadow Pokémon? Supposedly your Best Buddies have gone a lot with you, they've earned heart battling, walking on your side, you treated them with berries and you have showed your love by playing with them. Shouldn't this make the Pokémon stronger than the one that's suffering inside? What if the Best Buddies get the same buff that a Shadow Pokémon has?
This would also help people who couldn't get a group of people to catch a Shadow Mewtwo and loose their chance to have one of the strongest Pokémon, but rather they can put the effort on training their normal Mewtwo to be as strong or stronger than the Shadow version.
In this idea/suggestion I would exclude Shadow Pokémon to have the additional Best Buddy buff as they are suffering and can't feel a real connection with the trainer.
What do you guys think?
TL;DR: Make Best Buddies as strong as Shadow Pokémon and don't allow Shadow mons to be Best Buddies.

2023.05.30 11:22 OmegaTitanZ My Guild Wars Journey and Appreciation post (and miniguide to those wanting
Hello everyone, today I have finished the goal I had originally had set out for myself when I had started this game: GWAMM and 50/50 HoM and wanted to reflect my journey throughout my time and appreciation for this game with this post. Ill also be pointing out things I had wish I had known to those looking for their GWAMM and HoM as well.
Background on me as a player, I am a Guild Wars 2 player that started back in December 2017 and wanted to find a mmo that I wanted to enjoy since I grew up playing Runescape and wanted a change. This led me into starting GW2, learning about the world of Tyria, exploring content and fell in love with it immediately. Fast forward four years and I have become well versed in all of GW2 content and was playing on and off and told myself, why not try the original Guild Wars while I was waiting for the EoD expansion to come out?
I had already set myself that I would try out the game and I happen to remember the exact moment which lead me to want to play Guild Wars; Ingame I happened to stumble across a player with a title that I wanted for myself: God Walking Amongst Mere Mortals. A quick wiki search told me I had to achieve that title in GW1 to obtain it in GW2. Coupled with the fact that I was a lore nerd for all things Tyria, I had to see what Guild Wars 1 was all about.
Cue in when I ended up buying this game, I was excited after I had purchased the complete edition, wiki searching up the fastest way to get GWAMM while the game was downloading and searching up video guides on youtube, when I stumbled upon Peter Kadar's GWAMM and Elementalist guide videos. Yeah I was the kind of player that likes to read guides and minmax everything, and this game was no exception. Despite wanting to get GWAMM as quickly as possible, I also wanted to play to enjoy the story content in a linear fashion so I decided to make a roleplaying Prophecies character. I also chose Elementalist as my class (even though I had read that Mesmers were top tier DPS Classes), since I had picked elementalist as my first class in GW2 as well. Thankfully the name that I used for my GW2 Character was not taken, and with that my journey finally begins.
I remember my first impressions of the game: though admittedly it has good graphics for its time that aged like fine wine and had grown on me, my original assessment of the "bad" graphics; the lack of jumping and third dimension as well as the static combat compared to the dynamically fluid combat system of GW2 admittedly did throw me off slightly. Despite this I had set myself to start prophecies as well to grind out the Legendary Defender of Ascalon (LDoA) title as well to make my GWAMM easier. Hours later after grinding out all quests, Charr and Farmer Hamnet, as well as ticking my pre-searing checklist before I leave, I step out to post-Searing, not knowing that many hours in the future I would be super glad that I got the title before leaving. (1/30)
My subsequent journey became like this:
- Did every primary mission (including bonus missions) till I unlocked Lions Arch,
- Briefly played a bit of Nightfall and Eye of the North to unlock my heroes and finalise my endgame build. I ended up following the beginner Mesmerway comp from PvX wiki into the offensive mesmerway comp with a Fire magic Assassins Promise Ele build, getting my endgame armor and gearing up myself as well as my heroes with the money I would be earning playing missions. It was also around this time I stopped playing a bit due to EoD expansion for GW2, though I came back after a few months away.
- Finished Prophecies story, then Factions and Nightfall after, along with their respective hard mode counterparts and bonus missions/objectives, filling out storybooks along the way. (8/30)
- Worked on my Vanquish+Cartography+Skill Hunter titles at the same time. Athough admittedly this was intimidating to start working towards, It eventually became relaxing after I got into the groove, I would often vanquish 3 or so areas per day, which would take me a few weeks. Finished vanquishing Elona and Cantha first as I was dreading the caravan vanquishing from Tyria, which I ended up doing Maguuma to Ascalon in one sitting. Money for signets of capture would be acquired through the missions I had completed as well as the drops I would get while vanquishing. Learning the vipers jump and SaO chain for cartography was pretty cool as well. Also a huge shoutout to Textmod for helping me scrape the final few % to complete cartography, I'd imagine it would be frustrating otherwise. (20/30)
- I would also end up maxing my Sunspear and Lightbringer titles just from Elonian vanquishes and taking shrine bounties during the Double Elonian points week, although from my experience getting sunspear points were a lot easier so the storybooks so if you cannot afford to wait for double point week, I would probably recommend using it to get Lightbringer. I would also like to note I also did all my Cantha vanquishes under double Elonian faction week, which although inconsequential for my GWAMM, I would end up being glad I had done so for my HoM run. (22/30)
- For Survivor title I would afk farm exp at the Gate of Madness mission, found a video guide for it as well as looked at the PvX build but ended up using my standard Offensive Mesmerway comp and flagging my heroes far away at a safe distance where the portal spawning the infinite mobs would definitely not get destroyed by my heroes. Also did it in Normal mode instead of Hard mode for more consistency albeit taking a bit longer. (23/30)
- EoTN titles: I had also completed all my titles in the span of the double Northern reputation point week, Happened to get lucky with my Asura title by maxing it with vanquishes only with the boss bounty and rampager combos, Dwarf title was maxed while vanquishing while doing NM and HM dungeons with bounty (Minus Slavers exile HM, NM already gave me a headache), Ebon Vanguard and Norn Title were maxed with Vanquishes and Storybooks. Master of the North was completed while I was doing my other titles as well as completing the story quests NM and HM. (28/30) This left my consumable titles. Up until this point I had made my money by receiving story quest rewards as well as picking up all the loot dropped by foes during vanquishes. I had also been playing the game solo, so learning how to interact and trade with people in Kamadan, and my first trading memory was like magic. Only around then did I learn about farming Nick gifts (which I wish I had started doing earlier). Until then I had been buying Ales from merchants contributing to a tenth of my Drunkard title, which you could imagine me facepalming when I realised what a scam this was compared to buying them from other players. A few week of Nick gifts later, I finally got GWAMM by finishing my Drunkard and Sweet tooth titles by purchasing them with the ectos I had earned from nick gifts with other players (30/30)
Boy was I so happy when I finally achieved that title. I had clocked around 320~ ish hours to get GWAMM over the span of around 6 months (minus the time I took a break for EoD) which I was pretty happy about considering it was my first playthrough. At some point though, the magic of the game clicked. Instead of logging on to the game just to get some rewards for GW2 and to reach my goals, I started to log in because I genuinely enjoyed the game. I thought why not? I'll fill up my HoM as well just to keep playing.
- From completing GWAMM, (13/50). For my Devotion section, I had essentially begged in Kamadan for spare minis. It was there I would like to make 3 special shout outs: Kind player no 1, which after a little chat, I ended up joining their guild. He would and gave me around 13 Minis, A full set of Oppressors weapons and would craft me a destroyer weapon. You kind sir really made my day that day! (22/50) Kind player no 2, Whom after a little chat, found out he was a player who was returning to GW and was giving away his wealth. I ended up receiving 30 minis from him, as well two stacks of obsidian shards, for their generosity I was eternally grateful, ended up adding them: (26/50) Although there was no kind player no 3, I would like to make minor shout outs to a few players whom while I was chilling out in Kamadan, managed to find myself in a few 100k giveaways as well as getting a few freebie minis here and there to fill out my Devotion section. (27/50)
- For my Valor section, I had already received a full set of oppressors weapons and a destroyer weapon , so I had simply crafted two more destroyer weapons. Although I saw you could get a free tormented weapon from the wayfarers reverie event, I had simply gotten impatient and ended up buying an armbrace for the final tormentor weapon. Because I wanted to keep the minis and weapons that were dedicated, I ended up buying bank tabs just so I could keep them, (I was sentimental like that) (28/50)
- For my Fellowship section, I simply Farmed Glints challenge 9 times for the EoTN Hero armors, (1 Hero armor of which I got from Slavers exile NM) for my EotN heroes, farmed Stolen Sunspear armor and Mysterious armor pieces from Dakjah Inlet and Shadow Nexus challenge missions respectively, and ended up skipping Ancient armor remnants by buying Primeval armor remnants from other players (simply because I hated the Remains of Sahlahjah wurm mission after getting very unlucky RNG from armor drops from multiple attempts of the mission). I unlocked the remaining heroes I needed to unlock, as well as charmed the widow spider from a first time failed UW run, and charmed a level 20 black moa from the quest (I had already charmed a phoenix earlier in order to learn a SaO chain). I also learned about the whole pet death leveling process from this, getting my vampiric weapon from Shiro's blades which was bought from the Amulet of the mists from my Factions campaign completion). (36/50)
- For my Resilience section with the money I had from the Nick gifts, as well as the 2 stacks of obsidian shards I had received, I managed to buy all my armours, leaning towards the cheaper EotN armors. I ended up getting : Elite Kurzick Armo Ancient Armor, Vabbian Armor, Asuran Armor, Norn Armor, Monument Armor, and the heavily coveted Obsidian Armor thanks to the stacks of obsidian I had received from the kind stranger :) (44/50)
- And finally finishing off with my Honor section, I got my PvP title with rank 3 Zaishen title, through buying keys (Although at this point I was poor again and beginning to wait for my weekly gifts again, as well as wishing I did zaishen quests during my vanquishing days). At this point I had 34 statues out of 40, I realised in order to fill out the rest I needed to get the eternal conquerer statues for the elite zones, already dreading the rest of the statues due to my failed Underworld run I had done earlier. Although Fissure of Woe and Sorrows embrace I had done solo easily (While in FoW, I had crafted my obsidian armor), Underworld was proving a challenge even with video guides. It was then my guildies helped me out with a run, saving me from the PTSD of solo 4 Horsemen. Dhuum fight was... interesting to say the least, though I was disappointed to see it was not like the GW2 Dhuum fight. Urgoz's Warren was completed when it was a Zaishen bounty and it was pointed by a guildmate of mine that I would get a statue by completing the fourth stage of a Kurzick/Luxon title. I had gone for Kurzick statue with one vanquish away from rank 4, as I had given out my storybooks before for the Kurzick side which left one final statue. It was thankfully today I just happened across a bunch of people randomly running the deep while I was chilling in the outpost which I was kindly invited to and did a run with today, thereby completing my HoM. (50/50)
All I can say after this journey is that GW is such an amazing game and I thoroughly enjoyed my experience with it as well as the friends I made along the way. In the end I have nothing but praise for this game and now I can see why there are so many diehard GW fans who would defend this game. Although as a GW2 player and from a GW2 standpoint I have no reason to continue playing the game, I can forsee myself still coming back every now and then playing this game for the same reason I play Guild Wars 2; in the end it was all for fun and the memories and the incredible journey I had.
Thank you all if you have read this far :)

Poison will do better PvE, Cold better for PvP (didn't math this in terms of damage)
For the Paragon board, I actually tried to do a full loop, picking up the best nodes and glyths.
I enjoyed the playing Flurry much more than Twisting Blades, flows a lot smoother with how I play.

Archer Archers are fighters specializing in long-range combat and rapid movement. Opponents are kept at distance by ranged weapons and swift maneuver, and engaged in melee with sword and shield after the enemy is wounded and weary. - Major Skills : Marksmanship, Evasion, Smithing
- Minor Skills : One-handed, Block, Sneak
- Race : Bosmer / Khajiit
- Standing Stone : Warrior / Thief
- Attributes : 0 Magicka / 1 Health / 2 Stamina
Build Tips - You may find it very difficult to use only bows from the beginning. One-handed weapon and shield can be useful as backup weapon at low level, but you don't want to invest too much into One-handed and Block skill.
- Smithing is quite important for archery builds, because you need steady supply of high tier ammunition (and elemental ammo), which have more damage and more armor penetration. If you want to dedicate yourself to archery, you should also take Alchemy and Enchanting instead of One-handed and Block.
- Bosmer can take Ranger perk at level 1, which means you can kite enemies with light bow/crossbow from the start. Also, Strange Meat's hidden 20% damage bonus makes Bosmer race the best offensive race for an archer. Khajiit can also be considered if you want more movement speed.
- Warrior Stone is generally the best stone for combat class builds. You can get the Thief Stone if you want to be more stealthy.
- Stamina gives you more ranged weapon damage as well as movement speed. Should be prioritized for more damage output, but health is still important for your survival.
Barbarian Barbarians are the proud, savage warrior elite of the plains nomads, mountain tribes, and sea reavers. They tend to be brutal and direct, lacking civilized graces, but they glory in heroic feats, and excel in fierce, frenzied single combat. - Major Skills : Two-handed/One-handed, Evasion, Block
- Minor Skills : Smithing, Alchemy, Marksmanship
- Race : Orsimer, Nord
- Standing Stone : Warrior, Steed
- Attributes : 0 Magicka / 2 Health / 1 Stamina
Build Tips - Barbarians are different from Warriors that they focus more on dealing higher damage. Battleaxes have the highest damage with perks. Alternatively, you can also consider dual-wielding one-handed weapons.
- You can use ranged weapons just in case needed. Poisoned heavy crossbow is especially effective against enemy mages.
- Orsimer have the best stats, Nords have frost and shock resist. Redguards and Imperials are also good candidates if you want more stamina.
- Warrior Stone is simply the best stone for Barbarians. Alternatively, the Steed Stone will give you enough stamina to perform non-stop power attacks and dodge (Evasion perk)
- Health gives you two-handed weapon damage, as well as improving your survivality. Take stamina only as much as you think you need it for power attacks.
Crusader Any heavily armored warrior with spellcasting powers and a good cause may call himself a Crusader. Crusaders do well by doing good. They hunt monsters and villains, making themselves rich by plunder as they rid the world of evil. - Major Skills : One-handed, Heavy Armor, Restoration
- Minor Skills : Block, Destruction, Alchemy
- Race : Imperial / Breton
- Standing Stone : Lord / Mage
- Attributes : 1 Magicka / 1 Health / 1 Stamina
Build Tips - Roleplaying is mainly what makes Crusaders different from Spellswords. Other than that, Crusaders would use Destruction (Fire) and Restoration, while Spellswords can use any school of magic they want.
- Restoration Sun spells are very powerful against the undead, capable of defeating vampires and dragon priests. Respite perk will also give you near-infinite stamina with Powerful Healing Aura spell (or any other you can cast). Focused Mind perk gives you more magicka regeneration and prevents you from losing magicka on hit.
- Imperial is the most balanced & fitting race for the Crusader. Alternatively, Breton with magic resistance bonus is good against warlocks and necromancers, although it'll be much harder to manage your stamina.
- Besides the Lord Stone for extra magic resistance, you can also consider the Mage Stone if you want to cast spells more easily, which can be difficult in heavy armor due to mass penalty.
- You can go 1:1:1 on all stats, but you can invest a little more into Magicka if you have trouble with it. Stamina is less important if you plan to use Restoration with Respite perk, or make Stamina potions with Alchemy.

2023.05.30 10:26 Nexsyn Can you help me improve (my DPS)?
| Hey there all! Little background info - skip if not interested! :) ------- My bf and I are still kind of new to ESO. We're playing it a lot like a coop Elder Scrolls Game, mainly questing and doing overland content. We are also completionists, so we do all dungeons and world bosses we can kill together. So we don't have that much experience doing harder content. A lot of the overworld content is stupid easy of course, but there are some bosses we can't kill (looking at you bird from Nothern Elsweyr...). We are aiming to do as much as possible with it being just the two of us. We are pretty much sharing 50% of the DPS each, me being stronger with single targets in normal overland/quest content. With bosses or dungeons I am the main DPS, while my bf is kind of hybriding between dps and tanking. We are both nightblades. -------- I've read up a lot of DPS posts and I just don't seem to do as much damage as I think I should. Or maybe I'm misinterpreting it. I don't have access to a trial dummy, so I just have the stats from the skeleton. I read that weaving is really important as an NB and looking at the stats I think my weaving is pretty okay. I do need a bit more practice in my rotation though and I'm asking myself if there's any skills I should swap. I did try out a few different setups but the one I currently use worked the best (DMG and sustain wise). Sustain in general is a thing we both struggle with. How much does gear matter? I know mine/ours isn't the best (all body pieces are purple, jewelry is blue) and I'm working on changing the traits to divine. Though I do love the briar set and it helped us to survive dungeons and wb a lot! I'm running daily dungeons for the transmute crystals but I always feel extremely anxious and like a burden. We don't have access to trial gear but I researched a lot of traits and I'm max level in smithing, woodworking and clothier (jewelry still needs some work) so I could craft us some things :) I don't think we'll ever get into trials as we are both very introverted but we'd love to improve and do as much as we can! Any help is appreciated and thank you all so much in advance! https://preview.redd.it/wt1xxzqfix2b1.jpg?width=1920&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=aaf7e040aaf62afaab4cb27886ed7330dd9440a6 https://preview.redd.it/6rn250rfix2b1.jpg?width=1920&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6f7a54f399e1f016c019d50649a0f622ac8f08bd submitted by Nexsyn to elderscrollsonline [link] [comments] |
2023.05.30 10:10 Aart_Sin Pvp players can help out pve players, lawful against outlaws
Pve players intent to build a pve only server to prevent griefings, PvP prefer to remain unchanged. I have got a suggestion, why don’t we let the PvP players fight against the outlaw players? As with the current state of the game, bounty upon catching the outlaw players are limited, low reward, time consuming, high risk prevented players to accept this kind of bounty work. I suspect a higher reward and better tracking can make the content more enjoyable for PvP players to chase down criminals. The amount of stress and pressure of being chased and wake up in jail can help prevent player consider going outlaw while able to improve PvP content. Any thoughts or suggestions?Just don’t tell me something like wait for cig and time will tell.

2023.05.30 09:44 BinaryPirate Looking for help with controller layout
Off the bat I dont care about PVP and I just play this with some friends on a private server.
I want to use a controller for when mostly going around killing stuff etc and use the keyboard, mouse when building.
I got a layout partially done but I am having trouble binding the action wheel (the radial menu for wolf form etc) to the LT button.
When I bind the ctrl button to that it doesn't open the menu properly and stutters open and off quickly and the curser is stuck in the middle of the radial.
How do i go about doing this properly.
That said I am also using ModernCamera with the curser locked down in action mode. I am not having troubles binding other stuff but this is giving me trouble.
